Sin Wu Vegetarian — Restaurant in Taipei

This restaurant specializes in Malaysian and Indian food. I called around 1pm on Saturday to make a reservation for 1:30pm for two the same day. We were seated on the first floor. The restaurant was quite busy. Highly recommend making reservations before heading there. We ordered through a QR code. The menu was clearly labeled showing vegan dishes and dishes containing egg or dairy. I was eating gluten free because of skin issues. The server was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. The restaurant accommodated my needs with no problem. The server took the time to explain the menu.

Right after we were seated, the server brought out seaweed appetizer and a sweet/sour red shot. We ordered Nyonya curry rice, Thai green curry risotto, spicy pepper wantons, and salt & peeper tempeh. Oh man, the food was delicious. The fried food was not greasy. Dishes were not too salty. The flavors were just right. We ordered quite a bit for two people and left with full bellies. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend...

I was really craving some hot sauce or spicy flakes with my pasta and the server provided me with a chilli sauce which was absolutely the bomb! I inquired with their service staff which sauce they used (as I initially thought it was store-bought) - they notified me their chef makes it. Was a bit sad that I can buy this anywhere but I’m really looking forward to when the chef makes this chilli sauce and makes it available...

Really nice place. The salad and appetizers are in big portions. The salad was the most colorful I have ever had before. The pasta and risotto were very tasty. California soup was very delicious. We had a very fulfilling meal. Ended up with taking half of the appetizer home. The waitress was very nice. Since it’s our first time here, she introduced all the dishes...
