淬想町-洋食Cafe — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

I really enjoyed my lunch here that day. You order your food at the front and find a seat. This cafe has second floor with much more seating and I noticed each floor had a very clean bathroom which is also indicative of a cafe’s quality. I ordered the beef bourguignon which came with salad, two thick slices of toast and crunchy potato wedges and a choice of ice tea or coffee. The salad dressing was almost like a creamy wasabi Italian mixed taste which I liked because I hate sweet salad dressing (which seems to be a norm in Taiwan). The wedges were perfectly crispy and not oily at all. The beef bourguignon was surprisingly good because again I feel like the norm in Taiwan is to sweeten western food for some reason... this was not the case at all. The beef was tender and flavorful and the stew was well seasoned and flavorful and tasted good when you dipped the bread in. Now the tiramisu I also really liked because it wasn’t overly sweet or too much cream. The bottom was lined with a graham crust which gave it a nice crunchy texture. I came in on a weekday which I found was quite empty but perfect because I was there to study and enjoy the quiet ambiance. I’d definitely come back to try the rest...

The atmosphere was cool and pleasant, perfect for a relaxing brunch. The chicken thigh with honey mustard sauce was absolutely delicious , crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. Good portion size and reasonable price, Friendly staff....

店家環境採光很好，訂位週末上午11點，上樓還有很多位子可以選，二樓三個座位的沙發位子很美不過桌子太低擔心不好吃飯就沒選，才剛坐下其他位子就陸續坐滿了。店家生意很好，不過忙碌中還是帶著親切的笑容讓人感到賓至如歸。

餐點份量很大，漢堡排飯的漢堡肉有兩塊！ 鋪在飯上的歐姆蛋色香味俱全，漢堡肉有煎到微脆的部分很加分，整體肉不會很肥很油，也不會乾柴，肥瘦適中跟偏甜的醬汁搭配的恰到好處。相對其他餐點要等候比較久但很值得！

咖哩飯也有附沙拉飲料，沙拉有蔬菜水果，沙拉醬有點像凱薩醬帶有芥末的味道我個人覺得不錯，朋友吃到後面覺得太辣。咖哩蠻濃郁的，感覺有點馬鈴薯泥的口感，味道是日式感，好吃但相對起來比較普通。

鱈魚排三明治的吐司非常酥脆，而且端上來份量超大，旁邊的薯角也很好吃，朋友一致覺得驚艷，下次去還想點這個。唯一小缺點是送來的時候芭樂上面有一根睫毛，朋友不敢吃放置一旁，不過想說小事所以我們沒有特別告訴店員。

飲料我們點了隨餐的美式和紅茶，美式香氣足夠，紅茶味道很微妙，雖然不像早餐店那種稀稀的，但喝完有點澀，硬要說的話有點像有紅茶香味的水？
