Update: I happen to be near the cafe one night while being really hungry, so I walked in knowing this was the store that delayed my order so much I had to cancel it. The dine in experience was very different from my “first impression”. First off, it was close to closing time, so there aren’t many customers in there, I think it’s usually a lot busier during dinner time. The store was clean, quiet, nice, the service wasn’t too bad, and the food was delicious too. So I’m giving them 2 additional stars for that. If they really improved their delivery service, I’ll adjust my review accordingly.
BTW the coffee was the real deal.

Read more這間在台中有名的冠軍咖啡來到桃園新創立的藝文町 不管是在咖啡的名聲和舒芙蕾的表現上都讓人為之一亮 但我對這間店的印象非常非常差 第一次我想造訪時,致電過去想問問看是否能訂位 電話接通後,電話那頭是店員的嘻笑聲,但對方遲遲不願意對話筒有所回應,當天我打了三次電話,三次都是一樣的結果,不免讓人質疑這樣的服務態度,是否只是來北部插旗營運賺錢,也讓人對員工的教育訓練頗有失望。
利用下班空檔造訪,人不算多,位子可以隨便做,問題則出在這款舒芙蕾上,我點的是熔岩焦香布蕾,但跟官方臉書上那種整塊熔岩起司的畫面不一樣,給人偷工減料之嫌,基本不會再造訪第二次。
-熔岩焦香舒芙蕾- NT$230 拿到餐點的瞬間,我還沒有發現與廣告不符,但整體份量以我來說是有點多的,整體的香味不是相當明確,無法從味道給人第一個感官感受。 去掉熔岩起司不說,焦香布蕾的做法其實就是類似焦糖烤布丁的模式,兩塊舒芙蕾鬆餅,只有上層那塊是有烘烤過的,等於在熔岩起司不足的情況下,底層的舒芙蕾是來打醬油的。但店家相當聰明,舒芙蕾的口感跟一般得不太一樣,入口會有種特殊的微妙酥麻感,推測是用了品質不錯且熔點較低的奶油,讓舒芙蕾在進入口腔後,能被嘴裡的溫度給化開,加上淡淡的奶油鹹香,可以完美避開熔岩起司份量不足之嫌,讓舒芙蕾單吃也能成為主角。但這也是店家自掘墳墓的一點,因為如果不是分食的狀況,那種奶油化開的口感,在嘴裡的些微酥麻,會讓你對這款甜點的續航力下降不少,舉個可怕例子,可以想像你吃雞排或天婦羅時,吃到某一塊多餘的面衣,咬下去瞬間,油噴出來包裹口腔,流入喉嚨,你喝了一大口油的感覺。我形容的相對誇張,但你發生過類似的事件,就會對這樣微小的狀態很敏感,所以對我來說,這種感受不是我喜歡的。
最慘的莫過於配料的玉米片,有點像是最近一兩年很紅的用棉花糖和沙其馬做成的那種甜點,但玉米片本身的特有味道,完全毀了這點巧思,這我不多做贅述。
隔壁的杏仁片餅配冰淇淋就相對正常許多,杏仁片的質地偏厚偏硬,長輩不要輕易嘗試。融化後的冰淇淋,能感受到乳化劑的味道,雖然我不確定那是不是乳化劑,但就是小美冰淇淋融化後的那個特有味道,只是店家的味道比較小,品質更高級一些...
