Very disappointed with the quality of food here, especially seeing the high rating 4.7/5 from 4.7k reviews.
Meat didn’t taste fresh, there’s that unpleasant smell. Marinated meat tasted overly salty. I personally found that most of the food and drinks here didn’t taste right. Tried to sample a lot of things but in the end only found few things that tasted kinda alright: some things from raw veggie section (onions, 甜不辣, 豆乾), milk tea, soy sauce. Therefore it doesn’t worth the price at all for me.
Fresh lettuce is not available on buffet, but can get it by request. Found out about it after asking, seeing another table has it.
Dining table area looks quite clean and comfortable, but the buffet area feels depressing, so not inviting.
If you’re curious, better avoid weekday lunch time. It was quite packed with customers but the amount of food out (raw seafood and meat, fried food, kimchi, raw vegetables) feels lacking, as if seeing leftovers portion most of the time, which was not a good vibe. I guess non weekday time might be slightly better in this regard. Also, weekday lunch was priced 369NT, just 30NT cheaper than other times, but beef was not available, may add 30NT to get beef portion. So might as well go there...
Read moreNestled a few blocks away from the Sogo shopping center, there's a budget-friendly all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ restaurant that has gained popularity, likely due to its affordable prices. This spot tends to attract many students and younger patrons. Recently opened, the atmosphere is average, and the service is similarly unremarkable. While I can't vouch for its authenticity given the limited selection and lower-quality meats, the pricing reflects what you get. If you're in the mood for a meat-heavy meal and aren't particular about premium cuts, this place could work for you. The drink fountain offers a nice variety, which is a plus. However, I found most dishes to be overly salty for my liking, though taste is subjective. For such a low cost, it might be worth...
Read moreAwesome place for some all you can eat Korean BBQ. They have an assortment of pork, chicken, beef and seafood. They also have some other dishes too like fried chicken, Korean rice cake, dessert, and other soup. Everything is covered for the price, I went when they just opened and it was around 360, I think after the promotion is over it'll be like 400. Overall food quality is good, not the best, but if it's value you're after this place is it. You should reserve a seat especially during busy times like weekends and dinner time if you don't wait. There is a paid parking lot...
