Woosa洋食パンケーキ 屋莎洋食鬆餅屋 桃園新光站前店 — Restaurant in Taoyuan City

My family went there for lunch to celebrate my son's birthday. We did an online reservation which was quite convenient but only had Chinese directions. It would have been nice to have an English one if possible.

We went to the one in Shin Kong Mitokoshi near the Taoyuan train station. There are limited tables with a view so if you want that, make sure to highlight in the comment section while making your reservations.

The food was quite small in portion but surprisingly filling. A bit pricy for something rather normal but then again it's located in a department store so ...

Service was pretty slow because I could only see 2 servers on the floor being the cashier, maitre d and busser. Things can get quite hectic if the place is full capacity. There were at least 20 tables seating 4-people and 2-people.

During the reservation process, they asked about the occasion for dining. What's the point of asking if you're not going to do something special about it? I found that kinda odd. And if you want to try out the place, remember to make a reservation, if not it can be...

Ordered the Mont Blanc souffle pancake which ended up being quite disappointing.

The atmosphere and the presentation of food were both decent, however the flavour of its pancake was rather dull with an unpleasantly strong flavour of eggs, almost like eating a morning savory omelette. The price was fairly high in regards to the food, I'd expect more at this price range.

Overall wouldn't recommend this place...

Really good lunch that we waited 1 hr for. We ordered the fried chicken curry rice, mushroom truffle pasta with poached egg, and lemon pancake. The pancake is really fluffy and everyone loved it!
