We came in to get a couple beers, and something that wasn't just Taiwan Beer, Corona or Heineken. Many of the beers on the menu were sold out. Fortunately for us we wanted some IPA and they had a NEIPA available. The beer was great and the price was good. There were no tables available but we got a spot at a little counter on the wall. It wasn't very comfortable and we were tired, so we only had the one beer. To get beer you have to go to the counter, there doesn't seem to be table service here. They have a food menu but we were told they were out of many items. Fortunately we had eaten at the nearby Ximending night market. Good...

From most restaurants, you'd hardly even know that craft beer exists here. You certainly also wouldn't likely expect that tea ale or jasmine ipa's would be a good idea. BUT... this place has so many unexpected choices that will amaze and surprise. I highly recommend it. The food is nothing special... basic western style greasy bar food (great if you happen to be craving that, I guess), but the atmosphere, service, and beer selection are really what make this place great. A little gem with good local and imported beers and a nice variety. It's hard finding a good IPA in Asia but they have some full flavored quality beers and munchies to go with them. Perhaps they advertise to tourists as I found the common language of English was used by most patrons but everyone clearly came from the global community.
