About the food: The food was a disaster. Firstly, the food was not a high-quality one in the sense that it left both of us a sick bowel, immediately after the meal. Food is never rated great if it was somehow contaminated or stored improperly. Secondly, the taste is not worth the price tag. We ordered two medium-rare chops but received chops with unevenly heated portions. I'll never describe those portion as delicious and worth the bucks paid.

About the service: Sub-average. We were originally served by an intern. Although the service was generally great, we never had timely support when we needed it. The waitress didn't explain the menu to us and we had to ask to know that we can have a second serve of bread.

The straw that tiped the pendulum to 1 star rating is when we expressed that the food was probably in bad condition and caused immediate diarrhea, the manager, not the waiter, pointed out that it was our body condition that might resulted in the diarrhea. It was unbelievable. This is the first meal for BOTH of us and we BOTH had diarrhea during the meal/right after the meal. The response was also a disaster.

About the atmosphere: There was a baby crying bad at the next table while we were trying to celebrate me and my gf's anniversary/birthday. I'll leave it to you to imagine how great the atmosphere could...

We got the set meal for two people. Was overall an outstanding experience. The portion sizes were very large all around (bread, soup, salad, ribeye steak, dessert) and very delicious so certainly worth the money.

I worried that given the price point it might be more formal, but maybe half the patrons were in casual t-shirts and shorts like us and we received outstanding service nonetheless. Waiters are helpful, attentive, and check in on you regularly.

One of our steaks was a tad too rare for our taste, however when asked, they fixed it immediately (the waiter recommended we order more rare than usual so they can adjust to our liking).

They do a good job with the steaks, and the crème brûlée deserves a special mention, as it was caramelized and delicious (take it from someone whose favorite dessert is crème brûlée).

Beautiful restaurant, the food was absolutely amazing! We had the sets, an appy, soup, main, dessert, plus a drink.

We wanted to go to this restaurant already but found out my cousin also works there so we HAD TO GO! And it was amazing!

The staff were all friendly, they had an English menu, the head chef would even check in on us to see if it was good, and of course my cousin too!

100% recommend. I would say this is much better than most steaks houses in Canada, really well done!
