The Fridge Bar — Restaurant in Xinyi District

Love the entrance which conceals the bar behind a fridge door (as the name goes 🤣) We were searching for the bar and didn’t even realized we had walked past it. We even thought that’s a sandwich joint! When we got in, we overheard others talking about #friedchicken #炸雞 and reckoned that must be one of their signatures! Summer in Taiwan is always a challenge, especially when walking on the street without air conditioning. The Fridge Bar is one of the best places you should stop by, whether it's a weekday or weekend. They update their cocktail menu quite often, and most of the time, it features seasonal fruits or cultural themes! I also want to give a shoutout to their fried chicken—it's the best of the best! If you get a chance to be around, don’t forget to stop by and grab yourself a drink and some chicken!

I had a deeply disappointing experience at this bar. As a group of foreigners, we were singled out and warned for being 'noisy,' even though others were behaving similarly. This left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. Additionally, the drinks and service were below expectations. The bar staff even asked me to remove or delete my initial review, but I've chosen to edit it instead because my experience deserves to be shared.
