Tucked away in Taipei's vibrant Xinyi district, this Vietnamese restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that won't break the bank. With a menu featuring classic Vietnamese dishes like pho and fried spring rolls, every dish is crafted with fresh ingredients and traditional techniques that truly transport your taste buds to the bustling streets of Vietnam.
The standout dish is the pho, which boasts a fragrant and savory beef broth that has been simmered to perfection for hours. Tender slices of beef and soft rice noodles add substance to the dish, while fresh herbs and sprouts provide a refreshing crunch. The fried spring rolls are equally impressive, with a crispy exterior and a flavorful filling that keeps you coming back for more.
Although the restaurant offers fair prices, the quality of the food is still top-notch. Each dish is prepared with great attention to detail, resulting in a dining experience that is both enjoyable and memorable.
Due to its popularity, the restaurant can get quite busy during peak hours, so it's recommended to arrive early or be prepared to wait for a table. However, the delicious food and affordable prices make the wait well worth it.
Overall, if you're looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine that won't break the bank, this restaurant in Taipei's Xinyi district is definitely...
Read moreThis is my 3rd time I came here and we were very disappointed. It took almost 40min to get our food (bear in mind this is Vietnamese streetfood style). They thought we take it away and had it in boxes. After clarifying they just put the not so hot food on the plates and served it ... no excuse ... nothing. In addition we have the feeling that the quality has decreased as well (and I am not saying it because we had to wait). The first time we came all dishes were made with love (they just opened the shop) but now it seemed more like “serve as many dishes as possible”. The pho tasted less flavorful and was full of onions (some is ok but not as many as noodles). I hope this place is getting the curve and becomes this lovely little Vietnamese restaurant as it was in the beginning. On purpose I left my 5 star rating below from the first visit which was real amazing.
Rating from our first visit:

Read morePho Chua Cay Bo (Hot and Sour Pho with Beef Slices) got the thinnest slices which were amazingly tender and juicy. Besides, the delectable pho definitely had the best texture which was smooth, chewy, juicy, and relatively flexible. The pho along with the tangy and slightly spicy broth really hit different here. The pho with the best quality lies in this Vietnamese restaurant.
Sua Da Chanh (Vietnamese Milk Lemonade) was milky and sour at the same time. It not only tasted like lemon tart from Starbucks but also a bit of yogurts.
Last but not least, the perfect quality and value but at such affordable prices was absolutely worth it. This was the authentic pho I’d been looking for and I’ll definitely be eating here more often. Overall, only can 10 out of 10 denote this restaurant. What a perfection!
