嬉皮 HIP PUN┆純素蛋糕┆酸種披薩 — Restaurant in Zhongshan District

I have been meaning to try Hip Pun for a while and today I got the chance to sample three of their cakes; a chocolate, carrot and black forest cake. None of the cakes were terrible, but it was fairly clear that the ingredients used are at the lower end of the quality spectrum. The carrot cake was the best of the three, with a nice dense but moist texture, and a delicate ginger and cinnamon taste. The chocolate cake had a decent chocolate taste that was quite decadent but unfortunately it was overwhelmed by an inhuman amount of sugar. Taiwanese desserts are generally sweeter, but this one literally sent shivers down my spine and was reminiscent of some of the ultra-sweet desserts I have tried in the Philippines . The black forest was the most disappointing as it was the one I had looked most forward to trying; it was incredibly oily and left a greasy, cheap-oil feeling in my mouth. Horrible place to eat. Pizza was brittle and hard to chew. Shake is so thick that can not drink through straw. Worst experience after reading all the hype. Kindly keep food that you can really make good especially after charging enough money for goods. We are foreigners and spend money on food for lunch so have to eat to fill our hunger at that time. They also bullied us into ordering minimum charges and we obediently did that. But because of the rubbish taste i had to write and make all the other people aware. Both the girls were really rude and that microwave makes the pizza brittle as stone. Not at all foreigner friendly. We took the sauces to make the food taste a little edible else it would not been easy to even take a second bite. They might have paid for good reviews as honestly this can never get a good review from an honest cutomer. Amazing fully vegan bakery! I enjoyed it so much, I came back again just before my flight to take some pastries with me home. the bakery is small yet cute and their pastries won't shame any. fancy boutique bakery in France They have a variety of pastries, fluffy as a cloud with lots of different fillings, and everything looks so amazing which makes it so hard to choose. On my first visit, I took around 6 pastries and cakes because I was so excited to find a place like this exists.
