WORST CONVEYOR SUSHI THAT I HAVE EVER HAD IN TAIPEI! Uni was stinky that we couldn’t help throwing it out. We called the staff to tell them to be careful about the rotten Uni, they gave us that kind of smile (which was polite) but apparently she didn’t know how to take care of it. (I don’t blame her because they probably didn’t teach her how to handle.)
Zero service, they didn’t even explain how it works. Many food was “sold out” or “not served” on the menu.
Only toro and Chawanmushi were ok. That’s the seond reason that I gave it one star rating. The first one is because we had to give them at least one star on google.
I don’t get how come this kind of quality restaurant is forcing people to make reservation online only and asked you to register the account first to sign in??!
I was taking my friend from states to the restaurant and that was humiliating.
WILL NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND TO PEOPLE.
Read moreConveyor belt sushi on iPad but differs from the popular Kura Sushi in several different ways.
1- there’s only 1 conveyor belt so when you order special orders on the iPad (which does have English) then it comes on the same conveyor belt but on a special stand when your iPad alerts you. It’s a bit confusing at first since no one explained but we got the hang of it.
2- plates need to be stacked and counted by staff, not fed into the side hole.. so table can get cluttered and messy and you have to wave down the staff when you’re done and you have to count and make sure they count your plates accurately.
3- there is no prize like Kura. Small thing but makes it less fun.
Sushi is average, fish is thinly cut and some are mushy. I liked the fried vegetable tempura (NT$40) kimchi pork pot which was not bad for NT$90 but the ramen was pretty salty. Service needs improvement, waiters stand around together and don’t tend to the customers or even look up to see if people need...
Read moreThe baseline for plates of sushi here is 40nt, and compared to the 30nt plates at Sushi Express, that extra 10nt really makes a difference in terms of quality. That being said the conveyors didn't have that much variety I felt, and while some dishes are great, some are more underwhelming. I recommend any of the squid, brulee mayo salmon, and the thin beef slice sushi with toppings of brie or cheese are all good, and the chawanmushi steamed seafood egg is supppper yum! But some of the other fish slices and rolls were pretty so-so in flavor and forgettable. The ramen is solid, not a huge size but good if you want noodles! The ice cream dessert in red bean soup with mochi is delicious and so are the extra crispy fries busy at night so you may have to wait 20-30min during peak business hours. Good to try but not a frequent place for me...
