This is a cute little pet cafe. I seems that you need a reservation before you go to the cafe. We were pretty luck that there was space for us without having to book a reservation. There were a few dogs and cats at the cafe. The dogs were located in the front as the cats are located at the back.
The dogs and cats are friendly, you can pet them and play with them. We sat with another couple, however that area was very small and was very hot. The air conditioning and fan really could not reach that area.
It is a rule that every person that goes to the cafe must order one beverage. We ordered rose fruit tea which was tasty and delicious. The normal black tea was average and the we had the pesto with fried chicken. The chicken was a bit too sweet for me but the pesto rice was perfect, it comes with a side salad. I was a bit disappointed that they gave us a small salad and everyone had the big salad. This cafe is on the pricey side, I think it could be slightly cheap for the quality that you...
Read moreGreat initiative for a cafe taking in strays and/or abandoned dogs/cats. The staff have basic training on animal behaviour and will inform you on the house rules prior to entry. They will also provide interaction with the animals in a controlled environment through treats and rewards. But some are stray animals after all, thus don't expect full affection like domesticated pets. Food fare is decent but limited, with mainly risotto and pasta dishes. I tried the pesto risotto with crispy chicken. Rice was creamy and has nice pesto flavour, though it lacks some aromatics. Chicken was slightly over-fried, making it dry on the edges. Skin was a little too hard for brittle teeth. Coffee (americano) was proper and freshly ground from beans and brewed. Do make reservations ahead otherwise the wait could be very long due to the dining time of 90 mins, which other customers often stretch...

Being a shelter for cute little animals that you can eat at is enough of a reason for me to visit, but the fact that the food here is delicious pushed this rating to 5-stars. An added bonus is that it's within walking distance from Taipei Main Station! Yet it feels hidden, like you're discovering a secret little cafe in the city.
I would say the restaurant is reasonably priced even if it is dearer in comparison to other options in the area. I was satisfied after spending around 320NT on food and drink. Knowing that your money is also going to help the animals around you helps as well.
Will definitely come back, the staff are friendly (although not as english friendly, so come with your...
