Fried Pork Tenderloin Stuffed with Yuzu Pepper ($370) (NEW ARRIVAL): It’s a hearty set served with a bowl of rice, miso soup, refillable cabbage shreds and 2 side dishes. Tonkatsu sauce is on the side of the table that you can make your cutlets even tastier. Most importantly, those cutlets sauced with tonkatsu sauce and yuzu peppers inside are so satisfying. The way it tastes is just extraordinarily delicious and succulent with some fat and the miso soup also tastes great by the way. This is one of the greatest tonkatsu I’ve ever tried. Moreover, I add on a dessert and a $50 drink for an additional $99.
Added on dessert: M-6 Red Melon Soft Serve Ice cream (originally $100): It has quite sweet and rich flavour with creamy texture. I highly recommend you try this if you come here.
It is located on the 2nd floor of Taipei Main Station (Breeze) on the east side of the building (utilising the compass make it easier to find). In addition, there are two more branches nearby, one in Q Square, and the other one in the basement of Caesar Park Hotel which is connected by one of the MRT exits.
To top it all off, definitely worth the prices, high quality, good service, authentic and outstanding foods. Overall, it’s a 10 out of 10!
FYI, you scan the QR code on a corner of the table to order, there is complimentary hot tea, and the 10% service charge is included...

Ginza Anzu Japanese Pork Cutlet is a highly popular chain of Japanese tonkatsu restaurants in Taipei. With a unique commitment to quality, the restaurant offers a meticulously selected menu, from ingredients to cooking methods. In particular, the tonkatsu made from low-temperature aged pork boasts tender meat and deep flavors. The meat is aged for 5 to 7 days at a constant temperature of 2 to 3°C, resulting in an exquisite dish. One of the restaurant's appealing aspects is the oil used for frying. By employing healthy canola oil, they achieve a crispy texture while enhancing the natural flavors of the ingredients. The use of Japanese bread crumbs, sauces, and miso, combined with Taiwanese Koshihikari rice, creates a perfectly balanced taste. Additionally, the natural miso soup is made with traditional Japanese methods, complementing the entire meal. Ginza Anzu places great importance on creating a warm and calm atmosphere, ensuring that families can enjoy their dining experience with peace of mind. In addition to tonkatsu, the menu offers a variety of hot pot dishes, seafood, and children’s meals, catering to a wide range of customers. Every so often, it’s nice to get away from how 熱鬧 Taiwan can be. This restaurant is a small peaceful oasis in a nexus of extremes.
We ordered the business lunch, which is available on weekdays, and the mentaiko pork chop. Both came with rice, soup and a delicious endless salad of fresh, crisp slaw.
The rice was perfectly cooked. Every grain was just right. The salad came with two dressing options, both delicious, though the yuzu, imho, was tastier.
Every single item on the business lunch was yummy. I preferred it over the mentaiko pork chops, which was quite good.
For the variety, quality and amount of food provided, and the brief tranquility, it was...
