Just a stone throw away from the Taipei Main Station Metro (exit M7) this hostel is a reasonable accommodation establishment for those who want a short stay or layover in Taipei.

The hostel was clean overall, and the toilets were well maintained as well. Simple breakfast was provided - tea eggs and toasts. The locker provided was sufficient to store my 20-inch luggage.

As with most if not all hostel, if noise is an issue, you may opt for individual rooms at higher floors or request for earplugs from the staff. During my stay, there were at least two snorers, not to mention the walking sounds of lodgers heading to/fro the toilet but that did not affect me much.

As for safety, only lodgers of that particular level have access to the bunker bed room level. Also, visitors are strictly not allowed to enter the bunker bed room. To ensure the cleanliness of the room, no food and beverages are allowed in the...

Tried the dorm room this time. It's a big bigger than the usual capsule type beds and you get to share the room with ~10+ other people. Bathrooms are still common but there are tons of space so there's really little chance that people will go in all at the same time. ||||The dorm still have that same cleanliness as with the regular rooms especially since you have a separate area for changing clothes and your footwear must be left in the lockers before you enter the sleeping area.||||Mininn is still the best place in the central area of Taipei (around Taipei Main station, exit M7).||||PS. If you're just transiting to visit other cities (like me), leave your heavy luggage downstairs with the counter and just bring important stuff and change clothes to the dorm.
