Burger Buddies — Restaurant in Dar es-Salaam

To the owner of burger buddies: You make excellent burgers, i have been visiting since you sold out of the truck at Don Bosco, but todays experience was heartbreaking. I placed an order for the OG and Cheeseburger, was told to wait 15-20mins. 10mins in, and a rich couple showed up, they placed their order, tipped your staff, and voila - my burgers were delayed by another 20mins. Lets not even use the excuse that they had placed the order. Is there any special or preferential treatment for specific type of people? Its a shame. Your staff know exactly what they did and what occurred. If that wasnt enough, the burgers served to me had burnt patties in them. Im honestly very disappointed. I believe you should train your staff better. If you were in there and you made this happen, then...

I haven't found a more disorganised place than Burger Buddies. They don’t have a proper ordering system and rely on post-it notes, so you just have to hope they don’t lose yours. I used to be a regular customer since they first opened, but since the start of the year, I've been consistently disappointed. The quality of the food has declined significantly, and it’s no longer worth the price. Delivery is unreliable; it can take anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, and you’ll often get a soggy burger and stale fries. I didn’t want to leave a negative review, but after five poor experiences in a row, I feel I have to. It’s really disappointing to see a place that once served the best burgers in the country...

Dined in and we got a double cheese burger, chili lovers burger and peri fries. As a fan of burgers myself, you'll struggle to find better in Dar. The patties are smashed and full of flavour, bites filled with black pepper, onions and cheese. The chilli lovers has an added layer of jalapenos, just increasing flavour. The peri fries were also good. We went on a Saturday night and the place was packed, full of people on site and orders coming from online so we had to wait abit, though the wait was worth it. Only downside is there wasnt enough of a sitting area with just 4 benches at the place. Hope thats taken care of soon cause for the food they have, itll surely be packed more...
