Morokko Lounge Zanzibar Restaurant — Restaurant in Unguja

I went there for dinner with my friend,we ordered chicken skewers and burger.I got the burger with different ingredients then what was listed on the menu(something was missing and something was different),i approached the waiter and he went to ask the chef.He came back and said, he is very very sorry and its true that the burger i got is not exactly what i ordered,but i should eat it and he will talk to his manager so i dont need to pay for the food.I told him he should ask the manager for discount on my meal ,because i didnt believe,as a waiter he can decide that the food is free.He said: no no madam im very sorry ,dont worry, you dont need to pay for the food just eat it dont worry,i will tell my manager.So i asked him again if he is sure about it,he said yes. So i ate and after finish eating we asked for the bill.We got the bill included my burger ,only that i got 5000tsh discount.I was confused about the situation,but i didnt wanna ask, because already all the staff heared about my issue and they were always looking at me and i felt stupid,like i asked for free food or did something bad that they are staring at me. So we just payed and left.The waiter should have at least come and explain that he informed me wrongly and he can only give discount,its ok. Après avoir passé un excellent moment au restaurant Marocco Lounge à Nungwi, je ne peux que recommander cet endroit à tous ceux qui souhaitent vivre une expérience parfaite dans un restaurant marocain. Les gérants, Maya, Walid, Marnia et Kader, sont d'une gentillesse incroyable et ont su rendre notre soirée inoubliable.

Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par Maya et Walid, qui nous ont conduits à notre table joliment décorée dans un style marocain authentique. L'ambiance était à la fois conviviale et romantique, avec des lumières tamisées et de la musique douce en arrière-plan.

Le service était impeccable, avec une équipe de serveurs attentifs et souriants. Ils nous ont conseillé sur les plats à choisir et nous ont fait découvrir les saveurs exquises de la cuisine marocaine. Les tajines étaient particulièrement délicieux, avec des mélanges d'épices subtils et des viandes tendres à souhait.

Mais ce qui a vraiment marqué notre soirée, c'est la chicha. Le Marocco Lounge propose la meilleure chicha de Zanzibar, avec une grande variété de parfums à choisir. Nous avons opté pour la chicha à la pomme, qui était tout simplement divine. Les volutes de fumée parfumée ont ajouté une touche de magie à notre expérience culinaire.

En résumé, si vous souhaitez passer un bon moment dans un restaurant marocain authentique, je vous recommande vivement de vous rendre au Marocco Lounge à Nungwi. We went here for a change of pace from the typical Nungwi restaurants. This is north African cuisine and includes a hookah bar (various fruity sheesh right in the dinner menu). The food was decent and gave us the much needed diversity. The views aren't great -- unless you like to people watch in a busy part of this small fishing community.
