After our original place was booked for an event, we walked over to MI6 and was pleasantly surprised by its unassuming door within the plain plaza that led to a well-decorated bunker-esque theme that paid homage to the 007 movies. Went on a weekday night and it was completely empty which allowed the bartenders to pay us all the attention and we found out that they’ve only been open for a month and have a live DJ playing on Fri & Sat. They were also open to feedback on their drinks which I obliged to tell them that one of the drinks was overly sweet and could be toned down, but their gin martini was 👌🏽. I'm glad I decided to stop by this place. I tried a few different cocktails, and each one had unique character with good flavor. The ambiance was warm and inviting, which created a nice place to relax.

What made the experience stand out, though, was the incredible staff. As a solo traveler, I'm used to spending time on my own, but the bartenders, Got and Money, made me feel at home, and It was a pleasure chatting with them. They were even generous enough to teach me a few Thai phrases (some of which I remember better than others, lol!).
