this really sucks (I normally don’t write hateful review like this but this has wasted my 2 hours in bangkok) because of the bad attitude of the people.

I called and made an appointment at 8:30pm for a 2 hour booking, and I intentionally arrived early at 8:15 cause I wanted to allow more time. The male staff that greeted me informed me in a rude attitude that I could only do 1.5hours because they close at 10pm. I explained to him that I have specified for 2 hours, and then he came back and said it’s fine, and they asked me to pay in advance. And guess what, I sat there for 45min and the room was not prepared yet. Nobody seemed to care about that at all.

After 45min, I was told that the room was ready and they brought me to my massageur. She greeted me with hatred in her eyes as if I am the bad person that made her off work late. She brought me to my room and asked me to get changed and she would be back in 5 min. I frowned (it was 9pm already) and said I would be done in less that 3 min. When I was done I sat there and waited, I opened the door and nobody was there.

There she came after a while and she only offered to clean my feet briefly with towel. And that was the beginning of the nightmare. Maybe I was wrong for ordering a Thai massage in a spa place but this has been the worst massage in Thailand that I have done ever. She covered me with a thick towel and perhaps because of that, she lost track of where she’s touching and I couldn’t feel anything at all. I gave my feedback to her and the pressure started to feel imbalanced - strong pressure on places that need to be careful; and weak on places that supposed to have more pressure. And I don’t think she listened to my feedback at all. Eventually she just ignored me. I grew more and more awake during the massage cause I was afraid to be hurt. As a Thai massage there’s no twisting and stretching. Worst than that the massageur always had to sit on the bed to better apply pressure, and she always sat on my legs, that hurt FYI. I thought of just getting up and leave cause the 2 hours of relaxation has turned to be a torture and waste of time.

Finally the massage ended and she asked me to change my clothes and see her at the reception. I finished changing clothes and opened the door from my room, it’s raining heavily outside and nobody bothered if I have an umbrella myself or not, it’s hella empty outside without a slight of care. I went in to the room, and staffs asked about my experience.

I told them directly and I hope you can live up to the good reviews on Google Maps. Perhaps it’s just the Thai massage, I hope. If I wasn’t asked to pay in advance, I would have left and refused to pay to be honest. I would never come back again. The environment is nice and tranquil, but there’s no attention to people at all. It was a nice experience overall, although a couple of things could be improved. I signed up for a pregnancy massage with hot coconut oil. I was a bit late because I was walking from the BTS - it's a shame no one informed me that there are shuttle bus services, as a pregnant woman, it would be a really nice gesture. The greeting was very nice and the staff was professional and welcoming. They offered me tea and a cold towel, and they asked me to fill out the health form. Despite my 15 minute delay, I still had to wait for my room to be cleaned, which was a bit unusual, as I would expect it to be ready, but I didn't wait too long. The masseuse was really nice and smiling. She offered me to take a quick shower which I would gladly - but the shower is in the open space with no roof or cover, and it was raining really badly so that was a small disappointment. I had to cross the wet floor and get wet to get to the toilet. She then asked me again if I took a shower which was even more weird - I explained that I couldn't because of the rain. I think it would be great if some kind of cover is added in case of rain because it was not very pleasant. I expected the masseuse to wash my feet before the massage (standard practice even in small spas) but she only cleaned it with a towel. The massage itself was good, I was lying on my side and got plenty of pillows, so it was very nice and comfy. I think the massage was slightly too hard sometimes, I asked for a soft massage and considering my pregnancy I don't think it's necessary to put a lot of pressure. I normally love this kind of massage, but for pregnant women, I think it's better to put minimum pressure. After the massage I was overall relaxed. The masseuse asked me again if I wanted to take a shower (it was still raining heavily...). After that, I was asked to wait for the taxi to the BTS (normal), and another confusing situation happened when the staff from the reception came to offer me a tea but out of the sudden he said "oh I will bring you water". He left and came back with water instead of tea. Nobody really explained to me why I was not offered tea. Maybe it's not recommended for pregnant women but it was confusing because I got a cup of tea upon my arrival. Anyway, they drove me to the BTS which was great because it was still raining. Spacious parking available infront. They also have pick up service from your accommodation. I had the Ayurvedic head massage but the entire experience was confusing yet uncomfortable and definitely not worth it for 45mins. Beside the warmth welcome, beautiful quiet venue, clean facilities, there are many inputs that the place can improve. Inform the customer about the content of the treatment, either before or during the session. On the third-party booking site, nothing related to the treatment was written clear per description. Did not know I have to wash my entire hair upon arrival. Did not know there was facial massage with oil and I did put my skin is sensitive per check-in sheet. Oil can cause allergy reaction to many types of facial skin especially I was not informed what kind of oil that was. Meaning that you have to remove your make up also for this treatment. Treatment SOP and technique must have a big change. After the oily facial treatment, your wet hair will be soaked in more oil. The staff was not careful to test the temperature of the oil before burned my entire forehead and upper head three times. Seriously...3 times. Always inform the customer if you were about to pour a hot liquid on their body, or at least test the temperature on customer skin. Treatment duration. For a 45mins session, 15 minutes was for self-hairwash before and after, 15mins of soaking entire head in oil (long hair), 2 mins of facial, less than 15 mins of actual head massage. It was so confusing to be in this treatment when a regular compliment 2mins of dry head massage that usually come with head&shoulder treatment even better. Post-treatment result: greasy hair (not nourished) for the next 2 days. You cannot rinse it off with soap right away as it will damage your hair even more. Oily face and not sure which part just improve post treatment. The team did apologize for the unpleasant experience but that's all.
