Came here on a random Wednesday around 5 pm, and it was empty! The shophouse is about 3 stories, and guests can eat on Level 2, where it's air conditioned.
💧 Water is chargeable
The menu is quite simple, and it's generically pork soup. You can choose your choice of carbs, which varies from noodles to rice & their special rice rolls that can be clear or green. Taste wise, the green just tastes like normal rice roll.
For the combination soup, it is a clear pork soup that is mildly savoury from the sweetness of the pork. Pork balls have a nice minced meat bite. You can add pepper on the side if you'd like with their chargeable pepper grinder. I rate: 3.5/5 🌟
Crispy Pork 🐖 I really enjoyed eating their crispy pork!! Though it's not hot nor freshly fried anymore, the crisp is very well retained and super crunchy. The tamarind sweet dip on the side was the cherry on top. Must order! I rate: 4/5 🌟
Stir-fried long beans were better than I thought! Very fresh and cooked to perfection. Retaining the crisp and aromatic sauces and garlic chunks. Would go so well with rice. I...

🍜 Food wise: Remembering the best pork soup one had before, this was equally good! Depthful pork flavours, boosted with aromas from garlic and cilantro, this soup was really appetizing! That is not all. The pork balls had lots of white pepper taste, those sweet juicy meats, delicious! Pork slices were super soft and chewy, well soaked with the savoury soup. Finally the fried pork, harder in texture, slight crispy feel, tasty and motivated one to order the fried pork on its own.
Crispy, crispy, crispy. The pork was well fried, fragrant pork flavour, crispy on the surface, chewy, not that juicy on the meaty parts and pretty sticky while biting on the lards. Interesting combination for the texture.
✨ Ambience wise: There was air conditioning on the second floor! Great to escape the heat!
🤵🏻 Service wise: Staff did their job.

The boss was super friendly, explaining the dishes to me and even helped me with adding pepper.
I had the noodle soup, with a flat, translucent greenish noodle, what I would call 'kway teow' in Singapore. The soup was super yummy, and the meat serving was generous. The meat was cooked just right, juicy and not too overcooked.
I had the crispy pork, which was recommended by the boss, and it was excellent too. The texture was wonderful, crispy, but not too dry.
By the way, I only came to know that the person serving me was the boss because the TV was showing some food recommendation programmes and he was interviewed. I asked for photos and he happily obliged. Look at how happy he was to see that I finished every single drop of soup...
