If you enjoy going to roof top restaurants in Bangkok, try this alternative also. The Sky View 360 is not on the roof, but is an enclosed rotating restaurant that gives you a complete 360 degree view of the Chinatown area. This view is especially nice on a clear night.

Like many roof top restaurants, the food here - although not bad - is not the main point. The view is the main attraction, and what makes this restaurant a good alternative is that you are not exposed to the weather, it's usually not as busy and loud as some roof top places can be, and the prices are reasonable.

I have been here a few times, including to celebrate a friend's birthday with appetizers, desserts, and some good wine. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the bar tender was helpful. And because there is limited seating available, and is never too busy, the noise level was low and the atmosphere peaceful.

The restaurant slowly revovles so you get to see views in different directions, due to hotel's strategic location.

The decoration has vintage charm, style wise look like some Chinese private dining or karaoke rooms in earlier days. Menu includes many tempting food and wide options of alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Better book first, but seems not many people know this place so it is not crowded.

I went up to the top-floor bar Sky View 360 on Yaowarat Road relatively early in the evening to enjoy the stunning view of sunset over Bangkok 🌆. Luckily, they had a table and I could immediately start looking out of the windows. 😆 I ordered Crème Brulée 🍮 and a fruity cocktail 🍹, both tasted nice but were only ever supposed to be the sideshow to the main event: the amazing view in all directions. 🤩

As a closed space, you can enjoy the view no matter what the weather and always let your eyes wander across the ever changing skyline of this exciting city. 👍
