Jane's Shaved Ice — Restaurant in Chatuchak Subdistrict

While browsing the Chatuchak Weekend Market, we got extremely hot and were craving a treat to cool us down. We were happy to find Jane’s Shaved Ice.

My daughter got a plain shaved ice and I got a mango shaved ice. Mine has fresh cut mango on top! If mango isn’t your vibe, she has other flavors available, too.

On a hot, hot afternoon, the shaved ice saved the day—sweet but not too sweet, really fresh fruit, light and refreshing. And that alone would’ve been enough for the 5 stars, but then there’s the eponymous Jane. So kind and warm and inviting. She gave us recommendations for the rest of our trip, going as far as to highlight them on our map. If you’re in the weekend market, it’s a must stop....

This place is amazing. It's pretty and relaxing. I definetely recommend to try the mango shaved ice. The picture may seem slightly underwhelming, but it actually looks a lot better in real life. The owner of the shop is also really nice and we had a great conversation together. Will come back again if...
