Kasem Store — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

Just happened into this place because I was looking for heavy whipping cream for my coffee and sure enough they had it and so much cheaper than a lotus or other big name store so they already had me sold on being my new favorite place... Then some lady came walking out of the back with some pastries fresh out of the oven cinnamon rolls. I'll take one... Then she came back again fresh out of the oven coconut rolls. Sure, give me one of those too. My girl got the carrot cake and we left... That was our first stop. Have already been back again to get more coconut rolls and cinnamon rolls and this time we also got the banana upside down cake and a chicken curry puff pastry. Everything is to absolutely die for. We will be going back again in a couple days before we leave to load up for our flight to Kuala Lumpur... This place is so legit and they also had McCormick seasoning from America. I couldn't believe it. My McCormick taco mix. I wish they had the chili mix but it's okay. I still love you guys. I'm actually bringing them one when I come back. I have them with me. I can go on talking about this place all day. Anybody who gives them less than a five-star rating should never be allowed in again. And that's all I've got to say. This store/ bakery at the door of Chinatown in Chiang Mai is a hidden gem.

This store is hidden in plain site. You have to be on foot to get here. There is no parking in the front of the store. Maybe a motorbike.

This store has so many baked goodies. As soon as you walk in, you can smell all the yummy stuff. I was like a little kid.

The baked goods are homemade. The carrot cake and banana bread I got. The carrot cake was their take on it. Good flavor, and the aroma had me drifting. That's was good. Now I should have stopped there.

No, I smelled the bread, and i just wanted to taste it and devoured it. It was delicious and took my tastbuds to flavor town.

What a Gem of a Find. The Owners are FABULOUS!!!

This is a Bakery crossed with a Supermarket. Freshly baked breads, rolls, cakes, quiche, apple pie, spinach rolls, cup cakes, slices, sausage rolls. Some of their baked goods are Vegan. Red Velvet Cup Cakes were delicious. Banana scroll is just Heavenly. The baguettes were crispy and Moorish. The owner explained which ones were Vegan to us so we could buy a variety. The supermarket section has almost anything a Travelling Tourist could need.
