Simple Thai Cafe — Restaurant in Chiang Mai Province

so i just got my lunch somewhere else and wish to find a place to sit and rest for a while , and after i place my order for that the crew here is showing like you dont order any food , i told him i just finish my lunch so for the food , it gonna be later , and i start to bring out my laptop , and fixing some of my account issue , 2 times in less than 30 min coming asking again which is i have mentioned that i will going to order it later, and while im busying to fixing my binance spotify account sign in and sub account issue , the manager( which is they said he is but later on that i know he is the owner ) sending the crew request me to pay for the Thai milktea , and i ask the crew , did you know that you are now asking your guest to leave ? which is very rudes , and that crew for my understanding he is not good to handle any kind of situation and just receiving instruction from his leader , well and the manager come and i ask this is really bad that i already mention that i will order later while after i just finish my lunch and in a hours you are trying to force you client to order food again , over this moment im still politly to speak with this manager , your action is to chase your guest , 8 table and more than 4 table is empty so i dont get the point , and in a very arrogant reply while im asking him did you chase away you customer he said yes , and i was piss off , and the rest thing you guys please enjoy the video , while i start to record the video i ask him to speak again that he is chasing his guest to leave he refuse to say it out like before when i start to recording

I came here for dinner. There were only one waiting staff and another person who seems to me like the manager. The service was slow understandably. I ordered green Thai curry and steamed rice. My green Thai curry arrived and couldn’t believe the state of it. It looked more like a soup than curry. It also tasted very bland. While eating it, I took a slice of eggplant and placed it on my plate. I cut it in half and found a worm inside. I tried to get the attention of the waiting staff but she’s busy, the manager came up to me. I just showed her the worm in the eggplant and asked her if I could get me a new curry and rice. She took my plate with rice (including the cutlery) and returned with a fresh steam rice but with the same plate and same cutlery that I used. I was extremely unhappy. I just paid and left. I really didn’t like the vibe there. It felt tensed. Overall, I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food was bad and service was slow. I visited the Simple Thai Cage twice - the first time for a Western breakfast with a couple friends, and the second time alone for lunch (Thai food). The food was good, nicely prepared and nicely presented.

The service was impeccable. Khun Nok is a peach. Greeted with a smile, English was very good - and very appreciated as my Thai is next to nonexistent. On my second visit I had some time kill.
