Due to great reviews and because we were staying close by we decided to eat at Annies Restaurant and Bar before we went to the Sunday Walking Street Market. Greeted by friendly staff and taken back by a buzzing indoor and outdoor flow of chatting customers we chose to sit inside as it was a bit cooler with the fans going. They have an awesome range of drinks on offer, we decided to have a Mai Tai cocktail and it was really delicious. We shared a starter of fish cakes which were good. Then we both ordered the Roast Chicken (they only serve roast meals on Sunday)....and boy oh boy when the meal came out the portion was huge. Half a chicken, massive golden yorkshire pudding, beautiful golden crispy yet soft inside roast potatoes, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, stuffing and a jug each of beautiful gravy. I just couldn't eat it all due to the size but wow it was definitely worth getting! We really want to come back while we are staying in the area and try the Thai food. The bar and restaurant had a great pub vibe, obviously is popular. We'd absolutely recommend coming here for a good homely feed and prices are great...

This was not a good way to handle a complaint, especially when I didn’t really complain and initially just called to inform them. It’s not like I was even asking for compensation. Just admit when you’re in the wrong and take responsibility.
I would appreciate no more calls from the...

I am so glad I stumbled into Annies because the owners were extremly friendly and helpfull and since I was travelling alone I could always come to them if I had a problem or questions about anything !!!
If you come to Annies you will always feel welcome.
Thursdays they do a special curry night - again homemade and absolutely mouth watering !!
Other than that you can not only get beautiful and amazing thai food there but also they do a nice sunday roast accompanied by live music at night.
So basically you can come to Annies every and any time and be entertained and well fed. Which is actually what I did when I stayed in chiang mai and I was never dissappointed. :)))
