This is my second time visiting this Japanese restaurant for lunch. I ordered a small salmon salad (99) and four pieces of tuna sushi (99). The food was served quickly, and everything was fresh and delicious. The restaurant also played soothing music, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.

A cozy and affordable Japanese restaurant with great lunch deals. I had the salmon set (189) and the fried shrimp curry rice (99). The shrimp was crispy on the outside and tender inside, and the curry mixed with rice was super satisfying. The salmon was fresh and silky, and my friend’s sushi also looked delicious.

The atmosphere here is warm and inviting—perfect for catching up with friends. The staff are friendly and helpful too. I even made a new Thai friend while dining here and had a wonderful time. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back...

I rarely leave a bad restaurant review—mainly because with a bit of research and decent intuition, it's usually easy to avoid places that disappoint. Sadly, Tomimaki was an exception. While it's cheap for a Japanese restaurant, it’s definitely not good value. A small lunch for two still runs close to 500 Bt, and that kind of money can get you far better food elsewhere in town.

The sushi rolls were sloppily assembled and drowned in an overly sweet brown sauce that tasted nothing like real teriyaki. The salmon sashimi lacked the right texture—too soft, with none of that clean bite or melt-in-your-mouth quality—and we even found a fishbone in one piece. Maybe their ramen or katsu are better, but honestly, I'm not keen to give it...

They just opened on 21st of December and launched discount promotion 30% until 23rd of December

They have various menu like sushi, sashimi, Japanese salad and even rice set. The food quality were good compared with the price (which is reasonable)

We ordered sushi and the meat quality are good! Their mixed tempura were crispy. Pork sukiyaki is delicious but a little bit sweet (we already gave the feedback to staffs )

Their staffs were polite and helpful. Please encourage and support this new restaurant so they can continue...

I took salmon sashimi, salmon maki and green tea. While fish seemed pretty tasty and fresh it did lack better cleaning (photo attached). Tea didn’t have much taste and the teapot was dirty. I do appreciate sashimi served on ice, so that’s a plus! Although I wouldn’t come back, because of how fish was prepared and also because of the overall vibe. People working here look uninterested or bored and they play American pop music, which doesn’t make sense for a Japanese place and creates a weird vibe.
