Phetchaburi Thai Restaurant — Restaurant in Chiang Rai Province

Stopped in for a quick lunch of curry on rice. What I got was a very small scoop of rice with a small bit of 2 curries. Small cup of drinking water comes with the meal. Food was tasty enough, but not really warm. It was only 12:30, so it's not like I came just before closing. Food should have been hot at that time. When I was finished and asked the price, I thought they were joking when they said 60b. The real value of this meal, in this town, in this type of restaurant is no more than 30b. I would expect to pay 40b for a generous portion, but not more. Seems petty to complain about 30b, but if they want to charge double the fair price, they can find another customer. I...

Ordered chicken curry, got a plate of rice with 3 small pieces of chicken that were mostly bone. Politely asked for more chicken and offered to pay extra, at first they said "no", this should've been my clue this restaurant was not operated by reasonable people. But after some convincing they gave me a bowl with a few more pieces of chicken. When I finished I asked how much and was told 100b!!! Was expecting the original plate to be 30b. This place is a total ripoff. You're paying 60b+ for a meal a cat would be...

For all those who would like to taste Thai Street food, this is probably the place to try for once. Food are tasty but very little portion compare to the price In Chiang Rai.

Vendor is a bit harsh and sometimes rude to the customers which are very common.

Just be patience if you want to try because service mind is not exist here.

But for the food, it is undoubtedly the tastiest of its kind here. Not sweet.
