Bake — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

I passed by this place every time I am on my way to somewhere so I decided to come here for a late breakfast early lunch!

It was chaotic here, so many Russian sitting here and eating breakfast with their kids and family however, I managed to find a table!

So I ordered food for us but we decide to have a coffee first and Americano and cappuccino and then I ordered the salmon egg Benny on sourdough and my friend have the chicken club sandwich 🥪!!

My eggs were too runny pets so I had them re-cook them, and the club sandwich was fantastic!

The servers do their best because it was so chaotic but they did an amazing job and I would highly recommend coming here for not only just a food, but the service and of course the ambiance is amazing to open it’s clean is white and fresh and it’s very nice to work environment!!

We stumbled upon this bakery on our way to the beach and decided to stop in for coffee — and wow, what a find! The pastry selection was absolutely spectacular. We couldn’t resist trying the almond sticks and coconut balls, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made.

On our second visit (yes, we made sure to come back even though it’s quite a drive from where we’re staying), we noticed a wagyu spicy broth and noodle soup on the menu. Best decision ever! It was rich, flavorful, and truly unforgettable — one of the best soups we’ve ever had.

We also tried the coffee frappe and latte. Unfortunately, the coffee was a big miss for us. Coming from Seattle, we know our coffee, and this just didn’t live up to expectations. Not sure where they’re sourcing their beans, but it definitely wasn’t our favorite.

That said, the pastries and the soup more than make up for it. We’ll absolutely be coming back — and next time, it’s all about the soup (and maybe a pastry or two...

On our trip to Phuket, I was fortunate to be introduced to Bake! A modern eating place with a full menu of roasted food, pizza, salads and a huge assortment of sweets and pastries (just look at the photos)! We went in to the place and was greeted warmly by friendly staff, esp. Nim, the shift manager who introduced us to their roasted chicken plates. For me, I took the Thai style roasted chicken with french fries. This was served with an exquisite thai sauce which is both sweet and spicy at the same time - in my opinion, the best thai sauce I have tasted so far, a good match to the tender chicken. My friends ordered the crunchy nuts salad and pizza. The pizza is nicely baked, and has a thin & crispy crust. The food goes well with their version of iced thai tea.
