UPDATE: Bampot is now Mrs B. I went a few nights ago to check it out. Same Same but Different. Atmosphere/ambience still great. (Go for late night drinks. Fabulous vibes). Service staff led by Bestie still attentive and on the ball. What about the food? Different, but very good. Less Michelin pretension. We started with chicken liver mousse and grilled calamari--both excellent. Then we tried the new fire grill. Amazing pork chops (a must try) and grilled fish of the day. Sumi (Mrs B) is there to take care of guest needs. Highly recommended.

...Original review of Bampot follows: Best on Phuket Island! If you're looking for a great meal and even better ambience, Bampot is the place to go. Food is modern English/European so you can get high quality meats... the pork chops are amazing. Personally I love the appetizers,: crunchy cauliflower, Scotch eggs, cucumber) Try new dishes of black crab tartare and rock shrimp scampi. Fisherman’s pie is great comfort food. Chocolate mousse was a revelation. Bampot has long been one of my favorite restaurants in Phuket, and it has now gotten even better. They recently did a renovation, and the outside area is now a fabulous bar for both before dinner drinks as well as after dinner cocktails. Great sound system and music curated by a top DJ.

UPDATE Dec 27, 2023: Came here for dinner and I was wow'ed! The place was a packed house and I am adding the photos of the dishes we ate and enjoyed thoroughly.

Just came here for a friends bday party 🎈 and had a pitcher of beer!!

Love the ambiance of the place it was raining so the bar was outside, but covered for sure, and they removed some of the tables to make it into a bit of a dance floor and a DJ outside. It was really nice.!

Definitely coming here again to try the food!!

I’ve dined at Mrs B Bar & Table many times, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always spot on—comfortable yet classy. The staff are consistently welcoming and attentive, making every visit a smooth experience.

Their menu is packed with flavorful dishes made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. If you’re going, I recommend any of their steaks or Bangers & Mash—one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere. They also have a great selection of cold and hot starters, which are ideal for sharing with drinks, making it a perfect spot whether you’re there for a full meal or just casual drinks.

On top of that, the cocktail bar is fantastic, with creative drinks, pretty faces and a great vibe. They often have live DJs, which really adds to the energy.
