Mingle Eatery & Poolside — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

I have now been living happily in Homa Cherngtalay for four months and using all of the facilities especially the People Cafe and Mingle Restaurant. I can’t recommend this property high enough. It ticks every box.

I continue to find Homa to be an amazing place with wonderful and friendly staff and super service as well as great facilities, but I wanted to give high praise for a number of the people working who are both super professional but kind and helpful.

Firstly to Khun Hana at front of house and reception who has, to be honest, a thankless task dealing with so many issues, awkward guests, building matters and more and yet she does it with a smile and super professionalism. She’s a superstar of Homa and deserves high credit in doing a sometimes difficult job. The whole reception team are fabulous with a warm good morning and welcome smile and efficiency every day.

Housekeeping are unsung heroes who do such a fabulous job and go unrecognised. I have three who work my corridor with silent and quality efficiency and deserve recognition.

F&B is led by the super professional and engaging John who always has time to stop and talk which is a skill some of the other leaders here need to follow. Chef Mard always makes an effort to talk to me and ensure I’m happy with my food selection and quality.

In Mingle, led by the excellent manager, Khun Katt, they have a fabulous server and leader in Khun Khaimook. She is the most professional and efficient as well as charming and friendly, always with a wonderful smile. She needs special recognition and should be high on the list for promotion. The whole team are great but she is the stand out member of the team.

Finally the two angels in People café, Khun Am and Khun Smile are delightful and always have a welcoming smile and offering great service and always promoting the special offers which is good for both the customers and the business.

When you stay in Homa for a longer period of time you begin to notice the people who really make the place work efficiently and giving guests the best experience. All too often people write about the place, the location and the facilities and not so much about the people so I felt it important to raise a few names to pick out for...

This was our third visit to Mingle, and I'm thrilled to say that the service just keeps getting better with each visit. What stood out to us was how accommodating the staff was; when we asked to swap the French fries for a salad with our burger, they obliged without hesitation. It's this level of service, aiming to personalize our dining experience, that really impresses us.

Speaking of the food, the beef hamburger is a must-try for any burger aficionado. The patty is thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked, topped with a fried egg, cheese, fresh lettuce, and sun-dried tomatoes - a combination that tantalizes the taste buds with every bite. While the Caesar salad and the fried chicken rice were also delightful, the burger remains the undisputed star of our meal.

An unexpected and charming touch was on Valentine's Day when they gifted us a drink with a little Prosecco on the house to celebrate. It's gestures like these that make dining at Mingle not just a meal, but a...

Mingle has to be one of the best restaurants in the entire area! We have been eating here almost every single day for a year (as residents at Homa) and for good reason! The food is incredible, there is a variety of options (Thai/Italian), prices are competitive and reflect the great quality, and the atmosphere is lovely. The staff have been so kind to our daughter too! Plenty of baby chairs available for kids as well & healthy kids meals. The breakfast is very satisfying too, and the weekly set menu has lovely options. Even if you’re not a resident of Homa, I highly recommend you visit Mingle to eat and relax, you won’t be disappointed! Thank you to all the staff for all of your attentiveness and the chefs for the brilliant food over the past year!🩷🥰
