Unfortunately, the food was just average and not worth the price being asked. The customer service was nothing, but there is a 10% service charge which is very unnecessary, and the waiter doesn't pour the drink, or say if there are items not available on the menu. 10% service charge for what?

The menu is very large, so I understand if things are not available, however there is a page of "specials" which was a number of different squid dishes, at fair prices, but not available so you have to choose other squid dishes at more than double the price.

The beer is more expensive than in the hotel too.

The yakitori was good, but just too expensive and not generous. Some of the dishes arrived and are a lot smaller than the photo in the menu. For 2000 baht, we left feeling not full. I’ve been looking for a place like this for so long. Take is a small Japanese restaurant that feels just like the local shops in Japan. The food is simple, traditional, and full of real flavor. Nothing fancy, just good quality ingredients and careful cooking.

Everything I tried was fresh and well-prepared. The sashimi was especially impressive and the miso soup reminded me of something homemade. Even the rice was perfect.

The staff were friendly and made me feel very welcome. Service was quick and done with care, which made the whole experience even better.
