McDonald’s — Restaurant in Choeng Thale

Went there after 4 weeks of non-stop thai food and hoping for a change. Not only is this McDonalds more expensive than my local one in London, the staff barely speak English and aren't very friendly. I ordered a Big Mac Meal. Lady at the counter served me a Coke despite me asking for Diet. Fries had been held for a very long time as they were cold but also undercooked and very salty. And... finally the big mac, the signature burger of Mcdonalds. Well, taste wise, it's as if some very bad restaurant had tried to copy the Big Mac. There was no Big Mac sauce but instead some kind of Mustard Mayo sauce. Lettuce was the only vegetable and it had this yellow colour which smelled funny.

Anyway, food was terrible, service was terrible, drink was not the one I asked and all this terribly overpriced. I went to McDonalds because being a global international chain you expect a certain standard from them but clearly not in Phuket. Do not go there! So going around McDonald’s for a late night big Mac burger attack of course with the salted fries and all of this is fake food but it’s fake food at times when you really feel like a good burger and fries!!

I love this place because it’s open 24 hours so don’t have to worry about not fighting something even though this is junk food eat but my friends like you want to go to McDonald’s and I said sure do it!!

We went to this McDonald’s because my friend hadn’t had one in six months and we didn’t want to get one delivered and have soggy chips so we went out of our way on a little mission to get the best hottest most perfect McDonald’s we could get. Needless to say from the five star review we were not let down the quarter pounder cheeseburger was as good as they’ve ever been.
