An experience leaving us — once a week goers — wondering if we ever want to go back ever again

We’ve been going to BiTP since it opened and for the past 8 months, we’ve been going at least once a week. It was once a place for many occasions— an easy meal, a gathering with friends and colleagues.

We value BiTP for the quality of the food that it serves and once valued the exemplary service the restaurant delivers — and were happy to pay the above the market rate, a price premium for that.

That completely changed when we visited on 3rd August. On every visit, a regular item on the menu we order is the beef tongue, a dish we must have ordered over 40 times. In those 40+ times we were always satisfied with the dish.

On this occasion though, the tongue had tough connective tissues at the base of the meat, making it unchewable and we both had to excrete them on to the tissue paper. To our best efforts we tried to forcefully swallow them, to the point where it was unbearable.

Luckily, one of the service people, a young gentleman, overheard the conversation we were having among ourselves in regards to the dish, and very politely asked if anything was wrong and offered to replace the dish and took it away— the gesture and service we had come to associate with BiTP.

But then comes out the Manager who goes by the name “Pim” with the same very plate about 10 minutes later to say quite rudely that the meat is like this and that there is nothing wrong with it with groundless explanations of why the meat is tough. Upon saying we’ve had the dish countless times and its never like this, she then gave in and said she can replace the dish — but only 5 pieces, when the original plate that young gentleman took away had 10+ pieces on it.

She then brings out a new plate, now of normal BiTP standards, and as loyal customers we patiently tried to explain to her what was wrong with the previous dish. She puts down the plate quite abruptly, wasn’t giving us the time of the day to explain and exhaled the word “enjoy” as she walked away with her head held high as if she were trying to prove a point to her service team.

We were then met with a few familiar faces of the service team trying to comfort us and apologise on behalf of the restaurant for their manager’s inappropriate behaviour.

We hope the matter gets reviewed and resolved by the BiTP Management team. The food remains to be excellent but the service has been severely let down. There should be no place for turning customers away for this reason. What a disappointing and...

In the realm of hotpot indulgence, Beauty in the Pot stands as a shimmering gem, casting its radiant glow across Singapore's culinary landscape. Having sampled hotpots far and wide, I can confidently declare this establishment to be a true paragon of excellence.

The allure of Beauty in the Pot lies not only in its chic ambiance but, more importantly, in the quality of its ingredients. Each offering, from the freshest seafood to the crisp array of vegetables, is a testament to the culinary dedication that permeates every facet of this establishment. The commitment to using only the finest ingredients is palpable, making each bite a journey through a symphony of flavors.

Value for money is an understatement here. The sheer abundance and variety of ingredients that grace your table leave you in awe, as the balance between quality and affordability is masterfully struck. Beauty in the Pot doesn't just serve a meal; it crafts an experience, allowing patrons to savor not only the food but the satisfaction of knowing they've received exceptional value.

And then there's the broth – the heart and soul of any hotpot experience. At Beauty in the Pot, the broths are liquid poetry, concocted with precision and infused with layers of flavor that dance on your palate. From the robustness of the collagen-rich broth to the subtle elegance of the herbal concoctions, each option is a journey in itself, beckoning you to explore and savor.

In conclusion, Beauty in the Pot isn't merely a hotpot establishment; it's an ode to the art of dining. It's a place where ingredients, value for money, and broth converge to create an unparalleled culinary symphony. If you're seeking not just a meal but an experience, Beauty in the Pot is the beacon guiding you to the zenith of hotpot perfection...

I have been a frequent visitor to this hotpot restaurant and have always enjoyed the great service and pleasant dining experience they provide. I believe that each hotpot place has its own unique selling point, so I don't like to compare it with others. However, I personally find this place to have the most enjoyable dining atmosphere for hotpot. The seating arrangements are comfortable and allow for easy access when you need to grab more food. One thing that stands out to me is their spotlessly clean sauce station, which is regularly refilled. It's a small detail, but it makes a difference in the overall dining experience.

Their menu may not be extensive, but they have everything you need to fully enjoy your hotpot. The meat, seafood, and veggies they offer are always fresh and well-cleaned. I must mention that their sauce menu is simply the best. I have tried and enjoyed every single soup they have, with the tomatoes and spicy soup being my personal favorites. If you're not a fan of spicy mala, I recommend ordering the mild spicy option. It provides a nice kick of spice without overwhelming your hotpot.

If I have one small suggestion, it would be to expand their fruit and dessert options. Currently, they only offer three types of fruits and a lemon drink. It would be nice to have a few more choices in this area.Overall, I highly recommend this hotpot restaurant for its pleasant dining atmosphere, attentive service, and delicious offerings. It's definitely worth a visit if you're a...

I recently dined at Beauty in The Pot in Bangkok and while the ambiance was stunning and the service was adequate, I found the taste of the food to be average in comparison to other hot pot restaurants in the city. The hot pot dishes were cooked well and included fresh ingredients, but the flavors were not as rich and flavorful as what I have experienced at other hot pot restaurants such as CQK and Hai Di Lao. That being said, the restaurant does offer a good selection of dipping sauces to complement the hot pot dishes, allowing you to customize the flavor to your liking. Despite the so-so taste of the food, the ambiance of Beauty in The Pot is definitely a highlight of the experience. The decor is elegant and the lighting is soft, creating a calming and intimate atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing dinner with friends or family. In terms of service, the staff were knowledgeable and attentive to our needs, but the service could have been faster and more efficient, especially during peak dining hours. Overall, while Beauty in The Pot may not offer the most outstanding hot pot dishes in Bangkok, it is still worth a visit for the beautiful ambiance and the decent selection of dipping sauces. If you're looking for a place to unwind and enjoy a cozy dinner with friends or family, then Beauty in The Pot is definitely worth checking out.

The famous Malaa hot pot franchise from Singapore, Beaty in the pot is malaa hot pot with signature of Malaa and Collagen soup, menu is mostly the same as in Singapore, but the price is a bit cheaper. The Malaa souo from Beauty in the pot is very flavorful, strong in flavor and aromatic from Malaa spice that they used, but the signature of their Malaa soup is really good for people who not eating much spiciness, and it not gonna numb to your mouth and tongue. Collagen soup is one of them mostly selling soup,p.The quality of ingredients that they offers is really good, fresh and tasty from meat to vegetable. The beef here is not that recommend comparing to the price, suggest to eat more pork. The ways to enjoy most of Malaa hot pot is to eat with Ring Rolls Bean Curd Skin and Konjac Noodle. Beauty in the pot is the must try Malaa , if you are Malaa lover this place is really recommended.
