The atmosphere at Sync Coffee Bar & Roastery is undeniably inviting — a clean, well-designed space with smooth, mellow music that makes it perfect for a calm, relaxing break.

I ordered the Coffee Tonic, but unfortunately, it wasn’t for me. The lemon and tonic completely overpowered the drink, and I couldn’t taste the coffee at all. To my palate, it oddly resembled Malaysian kicap soy sauce. Perhaps others might enjoy the bold, tangy flavour profile, but it missed the mark for me. Based on typical ratios, a more balanced proportion would be 1 part espresso to 2 parts tonic, with just a subtle hint of citrus — something they might consider tweaking.

As for the Dark Beer Chocolate, it was deliciously okay — not particularly memorable, but not bad either.

Despite the drinks not quite matching my expectations, the overall vibe of the café makes it worth visiting. It's the kind of place where you could sit for hours with a computer or just unwind...

Our favourite place to have brunch, coffee, and work from in Kamala hands down. They play really great music that’s relaxing and quiet enough so you can have a quiet conversation or focus or read a book. The temperature is perfect, not too cold or hot. Always a very chill vibe no matter how busy they get. And all the food and coffee we’ve had here has been great. The fruit is always fresh and croissants fresh baked and warm and toasty.
