PLEASE READ BEFORE COMING!!!! We came 29/10/23 to watch the city vs united game. We had just been refused alcohol at another bar and was explained it was due to big Buddha holiday and it was illegal by law to be served this day. We completely understand this however the man told us he was still serving alcohol during the game. We tried to order cocktails and was refused when we saw others drinking alcohol and saw the man behind the bar making others alcoholic drinks!! We ordered 2 cokes. While watching the game I had a mouse run on my foot in the middle of the bar, obviously panicked at the sight the waitress saw and laughed it off, after staring at the mouse ANOTHER came running around others feet too. There were 4 TVs showing the football game, all minutes out of sync on full volume with speakers playing pop music at the same loud volume( I sound like such a Karen but I’m 21 and usually love a pub with music) but I was sat shouting over the table at my boyfriend with my feet on my chair like a child and getting over stimulated with noise whilst staring at the THIRD mouse wondering around our feet. We left before half time was only there 20 ish minutes. And our bill was 140 bhat!! Coke is typically 20/30 bhat in the shops/restaurants and our hotel. Should have stayed in our room instead of bothering getting a taxi there and back waste of money and time….3 wet might I add mice in 20 minutes!!! thank god we ate before coming god knows where they came from hopefully not...
Read moreIf you visit Karron Phuket, it is an absolute MUST to eat in/drink in o’reillys. The food is amazing!!! They have 2 kitchens offering either Indian cuisine or a mix of western/thai food. And to be honest both are exquisite. My partner and i are just back from a 10 night day in karron and we ate in o’reillys 3 times (the only reason for this was because we do always make it a point to try different places, and I must say o’reillys was hard to beat! We even had our last meal of karron there, our personal favourites were the chicken tikka tacos, the chicken curry (from Indian menu) and the spring rolls 😋. We would definitely recommend this. The staff are also lovely, very helpful and professional. They have an Irish themed pub at ground level, the Indian restaurant or the roof top bar, but you can eat wherever you want they will bring the food to your place of choice. The drinks were also lovely and the price was more than value for...
Read moreUnfortunately sirloin steak, if you can call it that, very, very chewy and fatty, it was extremely under cooked for a requested well done steak, blood oozing every where, portion size, 15 crinkle cut chips and we requested the steak cut chips which was on the menu for the sirloin steak meal, the vegetable portion was ridiculously small, all in all for the price it was a big, big let down.... They did offer to rectify said steak but we had had a long day and at that stage was absolutely starving!!! Safe to say we won't...
