A homey, family run restaurant hidden in the alley behind the main roads! THB100-150 for simple but homey comfort food. Their Tom Yum is flavorful, not just some chili and coconut milk with sliced canned mushrooms like the bigger bar and restaurants closer to the main road. Theirs had two kinds of fresh mushroom, three large prawns, and a generous serving of squid, with a flavorful soup where you can taste the layers of ingredients, all for THB149. Their holy basil pork was basic but flavorful, with the generous omelet on the rice flavorful as well and balancing the salty fried pork. We only ended up in this restaurant after being caught suddenly in the rain. It’s quite unassuming so we were skeptical, but we ended up returning another two times in the four days we were in Phuket! Lovely wee family ran business, and the meals were some of the best we’ve ever had! The steamed fish was absolutely exceptional and couldn’t be more fresh. This restaurant could be easily overlooked but don’t assume that the casual interior equals the quality of the food! It’s also ridiculously cheap so we gave much deserved tips! Seriously...

This little restaurant was next door to our hotel. We were enchanted immediately and it didn't disappoint. We had some of the best thai food we have had over the years in Thailand. An original and authentic setting and lovely hosts....
