The Worst Italian Restaurant Experience – And a Truly Shameful Attitude
My partner and I were really looking forward to a nice dinner here for our anniversary. We’d heard good things, and Italian food is our favorite. But what we got was beyond disappointing—it was humiliating.
The Food – No Love, No Care The fettuccine was mushy and bland, like something from a cheap microwave meal. You could tell whoever cooked it just didn’t care. Our margherita pizza arrived burnt on the edges but doughy in the middle—as if it was thrown in the oven and forgotten. The tiramisu tasted stale, like it had been sitting for days. No espresso kick, no creamy richness… just sadness on a plate.
Service – Like We Were Invisible The waiters acted annoyed when we asked for water refills or extra napkins (after they forgot our silverware). When one dish finally came out wrong, the server just sighed and said, "Well, do you still want it or not?" No apology. No urgency.
The Final Insult – The Owner’s Arrogance When I (calmly!) mentioned that our pizza was undercooked, the owner stormed over, rolled his eyes, and said, "You Americans don’t know real pizza." My partner, who’s actually from Naples, tried to explain—but the owner cut her off with, "If you don’t like it, leave."
We’ve never been treated like this anywhere. It wasn’t just about the bad food—it was the total lack of respect for people who just wanted a nice meal.
Save your money—and your dignity. This place doesn’t deserve...

We were lucky enough to spend our New Year’s Eve at Rosmarino Restaurant, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt the warmth of the ambiance and the attentiveness of the staff. We were fortunate to have an early reservation and were the only guests in the restaurant for hours, which made the evening even more intimate and special.
A highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the brilliant culinary talents of Chef Marco and his team. The six-course tasting menu was a true journey of flavors, each dish thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. Out of all the courses, we were particularly captivated by the squid salad, which was fresh and perfectly seasoned, and the melting steak—an absolute showstopper. The tenderness and depth of flavor were unlike anything we've ever had before.
We left feeling incredibly grateful for such a remarkable dining experience and can’t wait to return. If you're looking for a place to celebrate in style, Rosmarino Restaurant is the place to be. Thank you to Marco, the entire team, and the staff for making our New Year’s Eve dinner so...
