CANNOT RECOMMEND! I reserved table for two people for birthday dinner and I wanted something special for these kind of event. I read reviews before to go there and they are pretty good. Seems like higher class restaurant according to the price level but DEFINITELY they cannot achieve this level.
I expected a lot, but I was disappointed. We ordered Wagyu beef spaghetti bolognese and Chicken Teriyaki bowl. Spaghetti bolognese was taste like they put Heinz ketchup in to it (I don’t like it, so really know the taste) and totally ruined potential of Wagyu meat. It wasn’t good at all. Even not average. The chicken of Teriyaki bowl wasn’t skinless. It might not be problem if the chicken skin was well done - crispy. It it wasn’t. Worst thing about the bowl was super salty egg omelette which taste like spoiled and it made this food disgusting. So we needed to remove all the meat and omelette from the bowl. Nobody asked why. Even when we asked for plate for meat and omelette.
About the restaurant service I’m not able to say anything because there was almost no service. They just ordered, delivered the food and I needed to go pay at the bar because no one came to our table. Nobody came to ask if everything is fine or if we had any problems. Nobody came to pickup “finished” food in about 20-30 minutes after we are done with food.
I think it’s need to be standard of these kind of higher class restaurant. Sorry I can’t recommend this restaurant. They have really awesome location of the place, perfect for sunset dinner but with terrible food and not good service. If you thinking about perfect spot for birthday, date or any other important event, DON’T GO THERE and take a look to any other spot around the island.
UPDATE FOR RESPOND OF OWNER: First of all. Your response just confirms overall unprofessional behavior of the restaurant staff and our terrible experience with restaurant at all. Please let me recommend you few basic skills of “customer service”.
If someone gives you a bad review - try to use true arguments to refute the claim.
NEVER EVER verbally attacks your customers - how do you know about our culinary experiences around the world. Try to visit few really local Italian restaurants across the Italy to know, how the real spaghetti bolognese tastes.
Try to improve skill of your staff how to make restaurant business professionally and on the same level with your prices. It will be better than excuse the bad service of your employees. In every higher class restaurant the waitress comes to the table regularly to ask if the guest needs something. But your staff did not do it.
If you answering to someone’s review, it’s common to leave name, eventually your position in the restaurant.
At the end, we waited around 20 minutes if someone come to the table to ask if we want to pay or something else. Because nobody came to our table we decided to pay on bar. Even during the payment process no one asked if “Was everything alright?” So we immediately left the restaurant.

We visit Phuket at least 3-4 times a year and it’s like a part of our daily routine to go to Sundeck in the evening and Cannelle (which also belongs to the same owner) during the daytime. We arrived & went to Sundeck the same evening for which we had booked through email couple of months ago and also booked for another 2 days that we would be here. We went in the afternoon at 5:30 and sat there for little more than an hour and ordered two dishes. When we were done and leaving this healthy waitress VERY RUDELY and loudly tells us “YOU MUST SPEND MORE MONEY IF YOU WANT TO SIT AT THE SAME TABLE YOU SAT TODAY. I CAN MAKE MORE MONEY ON THAT TABLE FROM SOMEONE ELSE. I was shocked and flabbergasted and I told her to behave when she along with another lady waitress both started speaking very very rudely. It was perhaps the most disgusting behavior one has ever seen from a restaurant staff. There were other guests who also saw this and told us as we were leaving that even they were shocked at this behavior. This restaurant was good. I spent mybirthday meal for lunch here. The service was good and our waitress was nice. The food is good but a few things need improving. I didn't really like my main dish which was the "The Fried Chicken Burger". I thought the buns smelt a bit weird and the chicken was dry. The cheese on the burger was also not melty or delicious. We also had the teriyaki chicken and rice which was honestly bad. The pesto prawn pasta dish was good though as well as their truffle parmesan fries which was the best fries I've ever had before. I also had the mango smoothie which was okay but nothing special. The "Berry Aperol" cocktail was okay but not good. The food came out at apretty good rate. The reason the rating is still a four is because the view was breathtaking. You could see the view of the nearby Islands and the sea.
Extra notes: You need a reservation. There are not many options on the menu. There are 2 floors. There is aircon and also...
