#The Only Monjayaki Restaurant in Thailand Enjoy a chill time with friends, feeling like you’re in Japan, just a short walk from the BTS Phrom Phong, Exit 3.

I had been wanting to try this place for a long time, and when I finally did, it did not disappoint. The specialty is called monjayaki—a dish similar to Japanese pizza and takoyaki. You can choose your own toppings; I went with squid and shrimp. It’s served on a hot griddle, and the staff spreads the batter thin, waiting for it to crisp up before it’s ready to eat. They also provide small spatulas so you can spread the batter yourself, waiting for it to cook to a perfect crispiness, little by little. Pair it with a slightly sweet sauce for a delightful taste. It’s great to come with friends, chat, and enjoy the food together. The restaurant also offers a wide range of other menu items; the tamagoyaki is a must-try! Don Don Japnanese Homie Restaurant is truely one of the hidden gem in bkk downtown area.

The restaurant is situated inside Sukhumvit 39. few minutes walk from Emquartier and BTS Phromphong. Yes, a bit of a hidden valley. But not that hidden.

A homie feel and a warmth vibe of Japanese culture all around once you settled inside. There are 2 storeys.

The Japanese pizza was one of the best. Flavourful and super delicious. A fresh home-made udon was also rich in flavour as well.

Staffs are very attentive and helpful. Was fortunate to met the owner, an Japanese elder man too on the date we went in. Very gracious gentleman.
