An Unforgettable Omakase Experience in Bangkok

If you’re a sushi lover visiting Bangkok, this Omakase gem is an absolute must. Tucked away in an intimate, stylish space, the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort — setting the stage for a truly unforgettable culinary journey.

From the moment we were seated at the chef’s counter, the experience felt personal and thoughtfully curated. The chef, clearly a master of his craft, guided us through an exquisite multi-course meal with precision, passion, and a touch of storytelling that made each bite even more meaningful.

Every dish was a work of art. From buttery, melt-in-your-mouth chutoro to perfectly creamy uni, every piece of nigiri was expertly prepared and seasoned just right — no soy sauce needed. The seasonal ingredients were flown in fresh from Japan, and it showed in every bite.

What really stood out was the chef’s attention to detail and the flow of the meal. Each course was timed perfectly, with flavors building naturally from delicate to bold.

Service was top-tier: warm, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. The staff made us feel completely at home, and you could tell they genuinely cared about delivering an exceptional experience.

Final verdict? One of the best Omakase experiences I’ve had — not just in Bangkok, but anywhere. It’s a splurge, yes, but worth every baht for a special night out or a memorable...

This location is extremely isolated, good luck with getting there either stuck in traffic or walking in the dark without any form of pavement.

The toilet isn’t even en suite, and it was sketchy as f for a supposedly Japanese restaurant.

The service, the most astonishing part of the experience, has stricken disgust into all of us. The chef didn’t even bother to interact with us. The waiters who were with us the entire time, almost to the point of being intrusive, conveniently disappeared just as we were about to receive the check. It took them more than a few minutes to realize that there were still customers in this establishment needed attending, before heading back to the dinning room, where they took their damn time operating the POS machine as if it was their first day. Talking about being professional..

We’ve unfortunately missed a few things on the way out. It’s already been more than 10 minutes before we headed back, and guess what, the waiters did nothing in response to the situation, not realizing the oblivious loss of baggage and clothing that were so prominent. It would not a bald assumption that they would just leave the things on their own until the next morning. SO, WELL, TRAINED.

There is still the upside of the food being worth it for the price, that is, of course, if you are willing to go through the hassle and...

A Unique Culinary Experience with a Bitter Aftertaste

This Japanese restaurant offered a truly unique dining experience. The dishes were prepared right in front of me, creating an impressive spectacle that was as visually stunning as it was delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the precision of the preparation were outstanding, resulting in dishes that were fresh and refined.

The chefs and staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making the evening feel truly special.

A note on the pricing: while the prices are a bit on the higher side, they are justified given the quality and the extraordinary concept of the restaurant. Unfortunately, there is one major drawback that marred the overall experience. During the meal, I was asked to leave a 5-star review on the spot and show it to the staff in order to receive an additional course. This practice struck me as unprofessional and somewhat disingenuous, raising concerns about the authenticity of the restaurant’s online reviews.

Overall, the dining experience is highly recommendable, and the prices are fair for what is offered. However, the marketing strategy needs serious reconsideration to maintain the trust and respect...

Just went, and it was really disappointing for a Japanese omakase experience in terms of quality, hygiene and professionalism. 1. The sashimi was taken out at the beginning of the session and left out the whole time. By the time it was served, the sashimi had started to turn black. I’m not sure how can a Japanese professional chef can serve sashimi at such condition. 2. Japanese chefs are known for paying attention to hygiene details, but here, the chef didn’t observe basic hygiene. When a server asked the chef to check an order, the chef touched the bill and then went right back to making sushi without washing his hands. Laddle to make the soup were taken straight out of the sink base and not even rinsed with clean water before use. 3. The chefs seemed disorganized and flustered. If you’re looking for an intimate, one-on-one omakase experience, this isn’t the place. Often, the chef would start making your sushi, then leave midway to attend to orders from other rooms, hence explains the exposed sashimi for a long period of time before serving you.

We were about to leave in a great mood after a tasty meal—but what followed was so baffling, I had to write this review. There were three of us, and only one ordered the omakase; the others ordered à la carte. The performance was fun, the uni was great, and the pricing seemed fair. But we were charged for two omakase meals. When we brought it up, the response was shockingly unprofessional—no apology, no accountability. Even worse, the bill had been pre-checked by the head chef, meaning the mistake was likely known. There was no 'manager' this place, no staff came out to speak with us, and we were the only customers in the restaurant. The way the restaurant handled the situation was shockingly unprofessional—worse than what you'd expect from a street vendor, frankly. Check your bill carefully—because they clearly don’t. Even though the restaurant was overly focused on performance, I still thought the taste was decent for the price. But with such an obvious move at the end, all the memories and even the taste I had of this place are now gone.
