【For Those Who Want to Try Jiro Ramen】 My first ever experience of Jiro Ramen which is originated from Ramen Shop Jiro in Japan.
[What is Jiro Ramen like?] First of all, this ramen is not for everyone even in Japan. Thick noodle covered with a bunch of vegetables, minced garlic and oil looking like a mountain which you can customize. It is often described as a junk food. Some people are really crazy about it and those fan base is called Jirorian while some do not like it simply because of its particulairty. I was just wondering which side I am going to be on.
[My experience] Well, the first 30% of my bite is good. I enjoyed the combination of soy source based soup, garlic, oil and unique thick noodle with strong taste. It was tasty. But after that, it started getting bored. It is like a repetiton of the same flavor and especially noodle started feeling chewy, which made me ended up with the latter side. But overall, I enjoyed my experience to be fair.
[Should you customize Jiro Ramen?] I would recommend the large size without any extra add-on.(by the way, there was no regular size)
I ordered extra noodle for 30THB but soon after I started eating, I kind of regretted. Without extra add-on/topping, the portion is large enough even for men and the noodle makes you feel full morr than you expect.
As for pork Chashu, I defenitely recommend Not ordering extra pork unless you are big fan of fatty pork belly. Actually, the half of Chashu is fatty part as of my visit and it is...
Read moreI recently dined at Naruto Ramen and was thoroughly impressed. The noodles had a great texture that was firm and cooked perfectly. The marine fish base soup broth was a standout feature, with a fantastic aroma that elevated the overall dining experience.
The broth was also not too salty, allowing the flavors of the other ingredients to shine through. The toppings, including two pieces of Shashu, half boiled eggs, and pickled bamboo, were a perfect complement to the noodles and broth. I found that the meal was definitely worth my money, providing a generous portion and high-quality ingredients.
Additionally, I appreciated the option to pre-pay at the entrance before seating, making the dining process seamless and efficient. Overall, I highly recommend Naruto Ramen for its delicious noodles and broth, as well as its...

The flavorful Garlicky Humongous Ramen. Super rich broth topped with tona of bean sprouts and garlic. The soy sauce braised pork belly is just super delicious. You have to soak it in the soap for a minute or two to let it warm up a bit. The meat is osft and tender and just melt in the mouth. While very delicious, the broth topped with a lot of fat chunks and a little too much for me. I will say it is a must try experience, but i think i will go back to my regular shoyu ramen the next time.
All visits to naruto have been pleasant...
