Had to edit my review and lower my rating based on my last experience. This is the first time I give a low rating to a restaurant since I always try to support local economy, but my last experience here was very unpleasant (I even wanted to give 0 rating but still have a mercy on them). I am quite regular here as this place has always been my top option whenever I need a quick meal close to BTS Phrom pong. But last time I came here, it took 40 minutes to prepare my very simple chicken rice! So it was during dinner time, indoor seating was full and staff were pretty busy. I made my usual chicken rice order and told the cashier I would sit outside at the back. When I arrived on the table, it was really dirty from previous customers so I called the waitress to clean it up. He showed me an attitude when I told him to wipe it twice since after the first wipe the table was still dirty. He cleaned it again with grumpy face and I didn’t take it personal cause I thought he probably had a rough day and was tired. But what pissed me off was I waited for 30 minutes yet my food didn’t come. Even some customers who ordered later than me had their foods prepared (they ordered quite a lot compared to my only one meal). So I asked the waitress guy of my food but he seemed didn’t understand English so he ignored me. I was already pissed off and then I saw the cashier lady who took my order and I asked her of my food. She seemed confused and when I said chicken rice, she remembered and quickly told the chef to prepare. So apparently they forgot to prepare my order and if I didn’t ask, my order would probably never come! I felt discriminated, I know I only ordered a 50 baht chicken rice compared to other customers who ordered a lot, but that was not how they should treat their customers, especially I came there quite often! I was already upset and had to wait for another 10 minutes for them to prepare my very simple chicken rice. What unacceptable for me was there was no apology at all even though they knew it was their fault of forgetting my order, had me wait uncomfortably for 40 minutes, and was already upset. The waitress who served my table was just a young boy who quickly dropped the food and the price tag on the table and just left. I just quickly finished my meal, left the money on the table and left the restaurant. Will never ever visit this place again (their chicken rice is not that good anyway, the one by street next to this restaurant has...

I used to come here many times, the food was nice and very reasonable price. However I stopped coming because of the service. There missing orders and food getting delayed because the staffs are not writing the orders and most of the time ignoring them, especially if you are non speaking Thai. It is worth mentioning for someone who comes to eat almost everyday for 2 months deserves to be treated with the respect that a customer deserve. There is one time that an old staff grabbed the menu from my hand and gave it to another person in-front of other customers. She also did the same thing to the other table of tourists, me and the other table got so shocked and walked out of the restaurant. There is one occasion where I ordered and showed the food from the menu to the staff. He took the order but later I’ve noticed that the table that came after me was being served by their food and it’s already 40 minutes past the time I gave the order. I saw the staff and he said it’s getting ready and he was just sitting inside and chatting with his colleagues. However I found out after another 15 minutes that my food is not yet being prepared yet , and another staff gave me the menu and asked me to give him my order again. They were ignoring me and just left the menu on my table.I told them I can’t wait and they said I can leave. I already walked out of this restaurant twice and will never come back again. I used to come here with family and friends but now I don’t recommend this...

★★★★☆ Service was good. The dishes for one person is limited, it’s more recommendable to come with someone. It takes a while till the dishes are served, but the taste is good. Tbh, they are a bit cheaper and put more ingredients comparing other local restaurants nearby.

Take note, even on lunchtime on weekends, some dishes are unavailable… ———————— ★★★☆☆ The amount of meat has got less though it put a little more generous than other shops nearby, but it looked less than last time tbh, in place they put more rice. Wished they’d increased the price rather than decreasing the amount though.

As for tastes, too too strong for me personally, and I couldn’t finish. What’s more, I’m not sure it’s just an unlucky coincidence, but the fried egg has come though as the menu indicated coming with omelet.

As the same as the last time, this shop is not for me sorry to say. Their dishes are cheap and generous potion, but to me just leaving some mixed feelings tbh. ★★★☆☆ This time my dish was a bit too oily, unfortunately…the taste is different every time even if k order the same dishes. Take note only Thai language is available, so it’d be better to know even just some simple Thai words if you’d like to request something. ————————— Their tom yum noodles are very tasty with a...

DO NOT EAT HERE. I first came to Bangkok more than 10 years ago and had my worst meal ever, here. Location is good, opens late,0but tastes nothing like real Thai food (and I've had meals on countless real Thai restaurants in bkk/huahin/ayuthaya/etc) so I'm not some foreigner who doesn't know what Thai food tastes like or can't take spicy food. Everything just tasted weird like just random stuff thrown together and cooked and served. Moreover, the environment was horrible, there was literally no sir circulation, extremely stuffy and felt like air has been stuck and carbon dioxide has built up there for ages. I got a little light headed and had to go out for a little fresh air. Haven't been to a place with a worse air circulation and worse food in forever, and the owner also pisses me off. Just collecting money not thinking about doing anything to improve the environment. Ugh. Even the roadside 30baht noodle I had by the highway tastes better and more. comfortable than this place. Ew

We were looking for a dinner spot offering local cuisine and stumbled upon this place after our massage at Lek. The restaurant was quite warm inside, likely due to Bangkok's sweltering weather. The prices for the food were very budget-friendly. We ordered a Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Thai Mama Noodles, and Grilled Chicken, all for just ฿240. The Thai Mama Noodles were delightfully spicy, thanks to the use of peppercorns, and it was my first time seeing sliced fried ginger in this dish! The Tom Yum Soup came with a generous portion of prawns and squid, making it a great value for the price. What was interesting was that each dish came with a colored card indicating its price. Once you finish your meal, you can take all the cards to the counter for payment. This restaurant doesn't accept credit cards, but I noticed they have QR codes, likely for local payment options.
