In the heart of bustling Bangkok, where the aroma of delectable cuisine mingles with the vibrant pulse of the city, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that offered not only an exquisite culinary experience but a captivating journey through history. This culinary sanctuary was none other than Surinder Kaur's family restaurant, a place that transcends the boundaries of mere dining to become an ode to tradition and heritage.

From the moment I entered, it was evident that this was no ordinary dining establishment. The warm, rustic decor and the enchanting aroma of Punjabi cuisine wafting through the air set the stage for what would be an extraordinary evening. As I sat down to savor the sumptuous feast before me, the proprietor, Surinder Kaur, emerged with a gracious smile that instantly made me feel at home.

But it wasn't just the food that made this experience remarkable; it was the remarkable stories that Surinder shared throughout the evening. With the passion and nostalgia of a storyteller, she regaled us with her family's incredible journey, a journey that began a century ago in Gujrawala, a part of British India that now rests within the borders of Pakistan. Surinder's eyes sparkled with pride and emotion as she recounted the challenges and adventures of her ancestors who undertook a momentous move to the vibrant streets of Bangkok a century ago.

Yet, it wasn't just tales of migration that she shared; Surinder also spoke of the hardships faced by her uncle during the tumultuous partition of India in 1947, when he had to make the arduous journey from Pakistan to India. The courage and resilience of her family members left me in awe, and I realized that I was partaking in a unique opportunity to witness history through the eyes of someone who had lived it through her family's experiences.

As we savored each bite of the delectable Punjabi dishes, Surinder also spoke about her commitment to preserving the rich culture and traditions of her homeland. She revealed how her family, now in its fifth generation, has continued to keep the flame of Punjabi heritage alive in the heart of Thailand. It was not merely a restaurant; it was a living testament to the enduring spirit of a family's heritage and the warm embrace of their hospitality.

The evening passed in a blur of flavors and captivating stories, and I left Surinder Kaur's restaurant with a heart full of gratitude for the unforgettable experience. It was more than just a meal; it was a journey through time, a celebration of culture, and a testament to the enduring power of family traditions. If you find yourself in Bangkok, I implore you to seek out this hidden treasure and let the flavors and stories of Surinder Kaur's kitchen transport you to a different era, one filled with the magic of history and the warmth of Punjabi...

If you're on the hunt for a delicious and satisfying vegan/vegetarian fast food experience, look no further than Snoop's Joint. As a devoted vegan, I have sampled numerous plant-based eateries, and I can confidently say that this gem stands out as a shining example of how vegan fast food can be both incredibly tasty and ethically responsible.

Upon entering Snoop's joint, I was immediately impressed by its simple yet cozy ambiance. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to cater to any dietary preferences or allergies, which is always a plus.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show – Ms. Jyot! (The owner/ Chef) She offers an extensive menu with an array of vegan delights that even vegetarians would appreciate. From classic burgers to innovative ones, the options were diverse, ensuring there's something for everyone. The menu also highlights the locally sourced and organic ingredients, making it evident that they care deeply about sustainability and the environment.

During my visit, I opted for their signature "Snoop's Cheese Burger" with a side of fries. I must say, it was an absolute revelation. The patty was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had a wonderful grilled flavor that rivaled any traditional burger. The sticky rice with Grilled No chicken was absolutely delicious specially with the spicy sauce (Namchim).

The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable, considering the high-quality ingredients used. This makes this joint an excellent choice for vegans/ vegetarians on a budget and those looking for value without compromising on taste.

In conclusion, Snoop's joint is a vegan haven that exceeded all my expectations. The delicious food, warm ambiance, and eco-conscious approach make it a top-notch destination for vegans and non-vegans alike. Whether you're a seasoned vegan or just curious to explore plant-based cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit. I left with a full belly and a happy heart, eager to return for another wholesome...

I have been wanting to visit Snoops Joint since I first saw it on my feed on Instagram. The video I saw on Instagram was of the restaurant in Phuket.

Last week I Googled Snoops Joint and was taken to the Grab app from their Linktree. I first ordered their trio sliders which were super delicious.

The next day I ordered the drumsticks and samosas. I absolutely loved the drumsticks the flavor was a party for my tastebuds.

After ordering delivery and being completely satisfied I decided that it was time to pay them a physical visit.

I ordered the drumsticks again because it's a must when visiting or ordering from Snoops Joint. I also ordered they tofu wrap with a hint of spice.

For the drink I opted for vegan Oreo Milkshake. To top it all I ordered their cinnamon bun.

It was all so good I was thinking of all the people I want to go back there with. I even considered having my birthday celebration there.

The space in new amd small but it is clean, the staff are friendly and they served me a mix of nuts with Tom yum seasoning. Guys when I say I wanted more of those nuts it is no joke. They were that good. Since they are new they don't have a card machine yet. So they only accept cash or prompt pay payments.

I absolutely recommend that you pay this place a visit or order their food on Grab or Food Panda. Please do yourself a favor and order the drumsticks. I promise you will not regret it.

All the food was flavorful and...
