[MaMas] Nok Style Restaurant — Restaurant in Ko Lanta Yai

On our two week trip through the south of thailand, we were in a lot of different places. Every evening we went to a different "as-local-as-possible" restaurant to explore thai food - except to MaMas, were we went twice because it was so friggin good. I would give 6 stars if I could. Best food we had during our trip and we had definitely some good food elsewhere as well. Take the red curry, you wont regret, take all curries if you are 3+ persons. One word of advice though: When Mama (she is an incredible person by the way) tells you something about "spicy", take her serious, because it really means spicy. 2-3 chilis are...

Very friendly family run bar/restaurant with excellent food.

We've eaten here a number of times and the food has always been delicious. The proprietor makes his own bread and the naan was very good. You sometimes have to wait while one of the family nips to the shop for a particular ingredient and on one occasion, a bottle of gin, but it all adds to the charm and we're not in a hurry anyway!

Very good and tasty food one of the best thai food in Lanta, but be careful if you don’t like the spicy food because this is real thai food. If ask for just a little bit spicy will be more than a little bit if better if are not good for spicy food just ask for non spicy. The owner is a lovely lady who make this place even more special. Prices are very good for the quality of the food more cheap than all the restaurant. I highly recommend this local...
