The well located restaurant of the busy walking street in Fishermen Village overlooks the ocean and has a spectacular sunset view.

The Burmese staff welcomed me with huge smiles and offered great attendance.

My expectations for this restaurant were to have multiple layers of flavours and a wider range of taste. I went three times and was never disappointed.

1 - One and only Burmese Tea Leaf Salad and Shan Noodle soup with chicken ( you can have tofu if you are veggie) 2 - Samosa salad with greens and cabbage (stuffing was potato and onion) - and so yummy chicken curry with rice (it was so rich in different flavours) 3 - Cold mashed potato salad and chick pea vege curry with Paratha ( Plain roti)

The staff also let me try the egg curry, which has a sweetish caramelised onion gravy. Just wow. I would definitely go back for this and try more dishes.

In summary I can say now that Burmese Dishes are more slow cooked with more than one layer of taste and have less to no spice 🌶️ compare to Thailand dishes. Of course you can always add chili yourself.

Please note also that there is a wide range of vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Drinks try their coconut shake which comes in a coconut itself. Sooo good.

Thank you so much Burma Kitchen for this culinary delight on...

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a culinary adventure at Burma Kitchen, and I must say, my taste buds were taken on an unforgettable journey. The star of the show? The Shan Noodle with chicken – a dish that left an indelible mark on my palate.

From the moment the dish arrived at my table, the aroma wafting from the bowl was enticing and irresistible. The vibrant colors and fragrant herbs immediately captured my attention. Each bite of the Shan Noodle was a harmonious blend of flavors and textures that spoke volumes about the care and expertise that went into its creation.

The chicken was tender, succulent, and perfectly seasoned, showcasing the culinary prowess of the chefs. The noodles themselves were a revelation – firm yet yielding, with a delightful chewiness that made each mouthful a true pleasure. The accompanying broth was a symphony of flavors, rich and comforting, with subtle hints of spices that lingered on the palate. It was clear that the dish was crafted with precision and a deep understanding of flavor balance.

If you're seeking a culinary adventure that takes your taste buds on a journey through the flavors of Shan cuisine, look no further than...

If you're looking for an authentically flavorful Burmese cuisine restaurant, look no further than this hidden gem right in the heart of Fishermans village! From the moment you step inside, you are transported to the heart of Burma with its beautiful decor and warm, inviting atmosphere.

But the real star of the show is the food! The Mohinga was a standout dish, with its perfect balance of chewy noodles, succulent peanut catfish, and deliciously spiced Burmese chicken balls. The tea leaf salad was equally impressive, with its fresh, tangy flavor and delicate texture that perfectly complemented the heartier dishes. And the tomato salad was a refreshing accompaniment that provided a nice balance to the richer, more complex flavors on the menu.

But it's not just the food that makes this restaurant outstanding. The attentive, friendly staff make sure that every guest feels welcome and special, ensuring that your dining experience is truly unforgettable. If you're looking for a culinary adventure that will transport you to the vibrant flavors and warm hospitality of Burma, this restaurant is an...

Found this hidden gem tucked away down one of the side streets of Fisherman's Village. So happy we found it. This is Burmese cuisine which we have never had before. Myself being vegan, was pleasantly surprised at the range of small plates they have available. I didn't know what to expect and tasted some of most amazing flavours I have ever tasted. The food is stunning. The staff are very friendly and you can watch the lady in the kitchen cooking everything to order. My partner and I were blown away by the food and highly recommend this restaurant. It's not a vegan restaurant but the food they cater for vegans is really really amazing. We ate here twice in a row and wish we found it sooner. All of the menu is home cooked Myanmar food and you must give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely Fantastic – A Must-Visit in Koh Samui 👏 We’ve dined at Burma Kitchen Rooftop Bar & Restaurant twice now, and each visit has been nothing short of amazing! From the stunning rooftop ambiance to the warm and attentive service, this place truly stands out. The food is phenomenal- every dish bursts with authentic Burmese flavours. The tea leaf salad is a must-try, packed with texture and a perfect balance of flavours. The pomelo salad is refreshing and zesty, while the beef curry is rich, tender, and deeply satisfying. We’ve tried several other dishes as well, and each one has been exceptional. If you’re looking for a place with delicious food, great views, and a welcoming atmosphere, Burma Kitchen should be at the top of your list. We can’t wait to come back again!
