Lotus Bar — Restaurant in Ko Tao

One of the bars at the end of the Sairee Beach. At night they do fire performances, occasional fireworks and such entertainment.

Performers are approachable and surprisingly good for such a small island. You may even ask them to participate in the act.

Music is generic Latin based pop (at least the night I was there) - but gets the body moving.

The crowd is a bit shy but when they finish their drinks and weed they become more confident to dance.

All in all nothing special, but doesn't get...

Depending where you sit the music will prevent you from having a normal conversation. Way too loud some evenings. Seating average. Not recommended to wear your favorite clothes if you like to sit close to the gasoline-stinking fire show (on this beach the wind mostly cones from the sea). 3 star because the fridge on the beach where all the beer is stored only gets powered when service starts ... If you love cool beer this place is...

This bar is my favorite one to go to for nightlife on the island. They always have a fire show going out back and a really good black light bar as well. I enjoy it quite a bit just to sit and have a drink or have a wild night of partying. Either way it’s always a fun place and a good spot to meet other travelers. Happy to see they keep the really cool leaning palm tree standing as well. Definitely will be back again...
