Many flies. Horrible waiters. Go for it if you donât mind working hard on the flies. Itâs so sad we donât have time to enjoy the food much. We had the fish which is pretty good but we had one hand waving for flies the whole time. The waiters didnât seem to help or at least take any action to help. We decided to leave while we didnât finish the fish because we couldnât stand working on the flies anymore. We had the fish left and I asked the male waiters if they want to have the food on the table. They even said no and laughed. We are upset the we couldnât eat the food and we had to pay for it. We didnât want to eat the food with flies. Many waiters donât understand Thai and donât understand English well. The Thai lady waiter is very rude. She even said we may have the problem because we donât want to pay. The whole conversation made we felt like they thought they are right to not caring about customersâ hygiene and take no action for the service. The restaurant looks dirty. We definitely donât...
Read moreVariety of Thai food, decent price, with beachfront view! Sairee is my go-to restaurant for "Tom Yum Noodles", my favorite dish! ðĨĢð It comes with flavorful broth, great amount of fishball and pork toppings, and perfect spicy/sour tomyum taste.
Warning ð â ïļ : Tomyum soup can be spicy ðĨ Even when requesting for "Less spicy", it was still very hot for me but didn't stop me from finishing the entire bowl.
Staff Service (& Communications) : Serious language barrier (even when I have fluent Thai). Mostly pointed fingers at the menu to order with the wait staff. But when requesting for additional toppings (or removing some default toppings), I got the wrong order in both of my visits and my Thai friend also experienced the same. (E.g. added a totally different topping I didn't ask for and getting charged, or forgetting to remove coriander or pork blood, etc.).
Do I still go back to this restaurant? YES! After all, they still make the best Tomyum noodles for my...
Read moreOnly good for a sunset drink and also very pricey. I had the Kor Moo Yang (KM1, grilled marinated pork) the flavour of the pork was okay but i couldnât taste or see the marinade. And also when I got the food it was almost COLD, not even a bit hot! The chilli tamarind sauce was also DISAPPOINTING, you couldnât taste the tamarind part in the sauce it was just chilliâĶ and also the half of the plate was unenjoyable hard cartilaginous fat.
Summary: nice view, good-looking food but not tasteful and much too pricey and also too annoying sounds of the ordering system. When food is ready they ring a bell which you can hear in the whole restaurant and it rings almost every 30 seconds.
I told the lady at the counter when we paid they have to serve this kind of food on a hot plate but they wouldnât want to understand why i complained...
