My first time in Ao Nang and so is this restaurant as it's so close to our hotel. I don't usually leave reviews online. But the service, especially the waiter in his yellow t-shirt whom I believe must be gay because he is quite famenin. Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against the LGBTQ+ community. In fact, i am a gay man myself. My boyfriend who is white, I am Asian, from Laos. I ordered the food, and I spoke Thai to the waiter because we understand each other as Thai and Lao are very similar languages. First, everything seems fine. Then I started to notice that the waiter was kind of giving me angry, cold eyes look each time he turned around. But each time he approached our table, he gave a big smile and was very polite when he talked to my boyfriend. Again, don't get me wrong. I am not jealous or anything, but what is irritating me is the fake double standard he is giving. He raised his both palms(Nop) to thank in Thai way, again very nicely with smile to my boyfriend. But I didn't even look at me when I was politely thanking him for his service. How fake do you have to be to even pull such nerve while doing your job and not even hide it? The food is...

Only improvement needed is the service, it's not uncommon for this small place to be filled up and people would come, wait a while only to leave after that because noone would serve them, we saw this on multiple occasions. They have also made mistakes with our orders which we accommodated. Therefore, come here for the food, but bring your patience as well.
Overall I would come again, just for...

After disastrous meal at "Last fisherman bar" decide to try this roadside resturant that is away from main tourist attraction.
Greeted by warm friendly english speaking server. Not the best dinning enviroment, single fan under thailand heat.
However, the food was great. Order 1 papaya salad, 1 pad thai, 1 tom yum fried rice and 1 basil pork rice. The spiciness was match to non spicy eating tourists (I am guilty). Remember to say "Mai Ped!"(No spicy).
With 3 drinks, the total bill added up to 550thb. (3x cheaper than what i paid at Tourist...
