After traveling and eating mostly Thai food for almost 3 weeks, I was craving a nice burger so I tried this place out. The first thing that stood out is how expensive the prices here are. I'd say that the price is pretty much on par with what you'll find in the USA. I ordered a double Bangkok burger and substituted the raw onions for caramelized onions, an order of mix fries (mix of regular, curly, waffle, and sweet potato fries), a can of Coke Zero, and a side of the Prime sauce. Service was very quick and I had my meal within 5 minutes of ordering. The burger was good, but not amazing. I ate about half of it before I realized that the kitchen made a mistake and forgot the pickled jalapenos. I was initially wondering if they just chop it so small that it's hard to see, but no... They just completely forgot to add it... I feel like the burger lacked a robust flavor and had to add the Prime sauce to make it fit my tastes better. The fries were also just good and nothing amazing. I personally recommend dipping it in the Prime sauce or ketchup mixed with Tabasco. The can of Coke was also terribly overpriced at 60 baht. The total price came out to 561 baht which is about $15.80. Absolutely bonkers for Thailand prices. Also, the AC is very weak. I saw that it was set to 19C but I'm pretty sure the dining area was closer to 26C. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place unless you are seriously craving a burger. The value isn't there and service...
Read moreTHIS IS AN UPDATE: a manager of the franchise reached out to me and they did everything they could to rectify my bad experience. They were extremely polite and courteous to me (not one bit of rudeness). This place is under good management and I am certain that they will do everything they can to correct the issues that I experienced at the Ao Nang location. And again, the burgers are exceptional quality. It is hard to find a good beef burger in Thailand, just go to Prime Burger and you will not be disappointed!
The burger was really good, good quality meat and flavoring. However it was not good price at all, very expensive. And appearantly the only place in the entire country that doesn't include the VAT tax in the menu price (the only other place ive encountered in the country is the bamboo bar nearby prime burger, dont go there either. It was over 575baht for 2 normal drinks). We definitely got ripped off- about 1200 baht for 2 meals (and we didn't get drinks either). And then on top of it the waitress rounded down the change and kept some of my change. The service was bad - I had to go and find her in order to pay our bill. I only gave 2 stars because the food was good and next door there is a live band later on in the day,...
Read moreI didn't eat here and for good reasons. Generally I like Prime Burger but this location is pathetically managed. Walked up to the "wait to be seated sign" but all staff were inside doing nothing. Flagged one down and she seemed disturbed to actually have to work. She told us to sit anywhere (what's the purpose of the sign?). Sat down and waited 10 minutes. Went inside and asked the people inside doing nothing if we should order at the counter or table. Table was the answer and the least laziest girl came out to take our order. "Two glasses of red wine please." We only have beer was the response. BYEEE! Get it together people.
Edit 9/4/2025 - Happy to report ownership reached out to me. It's nice to see they take thier business seriously, and I suspect service will improve. Definitely try the brand if you love burgers.
Update 11/2/2025 - I had a chance to try this location again (because I love Prime Burger). Happy to see the service has completely turned around. Initial greeting, seating, ordering, and mid-meal check-in were...
