Authentic, Customizable Indian Flavors The variety and taste of the food are exceptional. We tried several types of parathas including onion, paneer, and aloo parathas, all freshly prepared exactly to our specifications. Each bite reminded me of home, so much so that I found myself missing India 17 even more than the food cooked by my own cook back home.

Convenient and Family-Friendly Service India 17 goes above and beyond with its hospitality. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always smiling. Particularly impressive was the ease of ordering: guests can simply WhatsApp or message their orders, and enjoy prompt delivery of food right to the hotel lobby or premises. Traveling with a baby was made easier thanks to their thoughtful service, including providing essentials like milk on request.

We returned here on our latest holiday to Ao Nang, only 6 months after coming here earlier this year. The food this time was disappointing, in particular the chicken saag. What I rated as the best chicken saag I had ever had was tonight the worst I have had. What previously was thick, creamy and flavoursome with tender chicken was watery, tasteless and the chicken was dry. I told the staff and asked them if they had changed their chef and was told they hadn't. I was offered another dish but I was so disappointed I just wanted to leave. Even the saffron rice had changed. I don't know what had changed at this restaurant but it was such a good place for Indian food previously but no longer. Such a shame. My previous review below no longer stands. I have also added an additional photo of the latest chicken saag and retained the previous photo so you can see the difference.

We had the Indian food here and it was fantastic. We had the onion bajas which were light, not greasy, tasted great (we had eaten some already when the photo attached was taken). For the mains we had chicken saag and chicken madras with saffron rice, which was all delicious. The nasn we had was with mozzarella cheese, which was delicious also.
