Isan Aonang Rataurant — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Dined twice here during our stay. Both times service was prompt, polite and friendly. We did notice both times that the Indian customers were being unnecessarily rude to the staff. Maybe the halal food affected the Hindus manners! The food here is far better than the Indian restaurant next door where the Indian chef serves up awful food. At Esan Aonang the Thai food is delicious, fresh and tasty. You cannot go far wrong here if you want authentic local cuisine. There’s not enough service people working at this place so sometimes it gets sloppy or slow, especially when there are bigger groups. But if you are willing to accept that, the food is really amazing and the prices are very good compared to other establishments in the area. I visited a few times, had panang chicken (the best I think), green curry, pad Thai and the tamarind soup with pieces of omelette (was not blown away with that one). 3 stars for decent food but fruit smoothies were too watered down and the cook did not serve us with one of the dishes we ordered.. Yet the cashier still tried to charge us for the food. We requested for less spicy when the waitress (cashier) asked how spicy we wanted the food but food came out full spicy (why even ask?) Seems to lack in communication between staff...
